  1. I’ll continue seeing any Alien movie in the theater, they will get it back on track someday. Hopefully. Even the Prometheus/Covenant films were worth seeing on the big screen as they were gorgeous to look at.
  2. Hex had Fassbender and Malkovich?! Wow. I kinda want to see it now.
  3. Follow up. While the first half was slow and failed to impress me, the second half picks up and gives us a Matrix level action scene. But still left me wanting more. It seems like there was a lot missing from this. A couple of great moments with the duo (coffee shop and in the finale) but nothing will really knock your socks off. Is this another planned trilogy? I guess the box office will decide that.
  4. Yes, Reloaded and Revolutions were not as good as the original but they had actions scenes that rivaled the originals best. Reloaded’s highway scene was pure adrenaline and Revolutions mechwar was spectacular despite cheesy bad dialogue throughout. I rewatch all those movies for certain scenes now. I watched half of Resurrections yesterday before I had to go in to work and will wrap it up tonight. Of course I don’t have much to say on it yet except that the first half of the movie had nothing that took my breath away. The original trilogy created new filming techniques and technology. Jaw dropping action scenes. I really hope the second half delivers something. Anything.
  5. Not a fan of them casting her as Batgirl. My daughters may like it.
  6. I didn’t see any movie on your list in the theater either. Other ones I skipped: Steel, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Captain Marvel, Shang-Chi, Black Widow and Eternals.
  7. Ok, if thats the case I would definitely advise jumping on the 3 in 4K as you can’t beat 5 bux a flick.
  8. Not a bad deal but one of those is in SD which I believe means “Suck a D, I ain’t watching Batman in 480p.” Spring for the set on iTunes and get all three in 4K for a twenty. Just skip the strip club this weekend.
  9. Superhero fatigue has definitely set in and it takes Spider-Man to give it a second wind. After that, Batman and Flash.
  10. My wife hated it as well. Will not watch any movie with that handheld camera feel. I get what they were going for but I would have preferred to see it filmed standard. They really could have done something with an extended scene when those parasites fell off the creature and started that subway attack.
  11. Yup, No Time to Die has its moment in the sun on top of the pack but spandex beats spies.
  12. Agreed, its such a tired stance. At this point, you can pick and choose which movie you preferred to say saved US theaters and find articles to back up your position. Including theater CEO tweets for several of them. No Time to Die, Shang Chi, Godzilla VS Kong, A Quiet Place 2, F9 and Venom. The logical conclusion is no single movie saved the theaters and it just came down to a combination of all those films starting with A Quiet Place II way back in May. Add in a population getting bored and wanting to venture out and the restrictions gradually loosening up. But to think a movie that was released three months ago single handedly saved the industry is some deeply flawed fanboy logic. Like carrying the ball into the end zone without a team to block for you.
  13. Actually Finn is still there on the Chinese poster, just smaller. They actually took off Chewbacca!
  14. I’m not gonna get excited. Hopefully this seemingly unnecessary flick from one half of the Wachowskis will be worth it. They have more misses than hits.
  15. A perfect RT score so far and 71 on Metacritic. No audience scores for either yet. This will show why Spider-Man is Marvels flagship when it becomes the first billion dollar film of the pandemic. Even if its a ship docking at another port.
  16. The Batman, Spider-Man and The Flash. In that order.
  17. I just bought this on iTunes. My Craig run is complete.
