    Well, I can’t agree or disagree with you on that since I haven’t watched either movie yet. And even when I do, my opinion doesn’t mean squat to anyone but me. I’m not big on the review sites anyway but if I need them, I use Metacritic. The math is better there.

    Interesting how several posters here preferred the first half over the second. I struggled with the first half and enjoyed the second. The bus fight scene was the only thing that was cool in the first half. Not sure why I enjoyed Awkwafina because she had bad lines and really didn’t even need to make the trip. She could have just faded out after her Sandra Bullock moment. I just find her sort of charismatic.

    Ridley Scott is the latest legendary director to slam comic book movies. While I sided with Scorsese to some degree, I can’t agree with Scott saying superhero movies are f’n boring with bad scripts. I agree many of them have bad scripts straight from the cookie cutter but even some of those can be entertaining and exciting. I don’t think Scott has seen The Dark Knight. Even then he would probably just claim exception to the rule.

    How do they screw up the token Marvel humor in this when they had Ronnie Chieng in the cast? They shouldn’t have given him such a small role. I don’t know who the Aquafina girl is but I liked her despite her terrible lines. I also liked her in another movie she was in. Breaking News in Yuba County. She had better lines in that one.

    Does not get any better than Kung Fu Hustle. I can’t believe how many times I’ve watched this.

    I like the original outline there but I still didn’t like BvS. I loved certain scenes in BvS but not the movie as a whole. I’ve said it before, I’d give anything for Zack to make a complete Knightmare movie. Affleck in the desert with his merc army Mad Maxxing out. Wouldn’t even need a story.

    Ridley Scott is off his rocker. Gladiator should go down like E.T. No F’n sequel needed because it can never measure up.

    I’ve never lost a friend over a differing viewpoint period. I’ve never had a discovery that a friend of mine was a closet racist or sociopath. I tend to vet people before they enter the circle.

    Exactly. Ghostbusters 2016 would have failed with a male cast if they kept a similar storyline. I was excited to watch it being a fan of McKinnon and Wiig and even they couldn’t save it with the dialogue they were given to work with. I don’t even think the original cast could recreate that magic we are nostalgic for. I think reinventing it with some original cast support is the way to go.

    These are not worth counterfeiting so I don’t think authenticity is an issue. These images are from current eBay listings if you want one. The prices seem high, I think I paid $200 for the set of redemption card and Gone card a few years ago.

    First half hour was bad with eye rolling moments but I stuck with it because I liked the two leads. It got better. And the finale was great. Really enjoyed it. His sister was a bit of a disappointment though as her character didn’t seem very fleshed out and I didn’t have much feeling for her. She also came off as a bit wooden. Never read the comics so this is what I have to go on and I dug it. Looking forward to more.
