  1. Purchased some comics from the last VCC, package arrived yesterday safe and sound. Excellent packaging with no damage to the books. Comics were well graded and fairly priced. Will buy from Robert again, no worries David
  2. here are some of my favorite progs... Judge Death Lives ! Classic Bolland [/img] [/img] Love this one, part of the Judge Child storyline - Bolland again [/img]
  3. Which Shock SuspenStories? #6? yes I meant 6. Can any body recommend any dealers that specialise in EC comics ?? There's hardly any slabbed if you go by the census. Are they really rare or mostly mid grade copies therefore no need to slab ?? Once I get my finances in order I'll be after a nice looking 6.0 to 7.5 (raw or slabbed) but I haven't seen any on the market..... Thanks !!
  4. As most of my favorites have already been mentioned I'll go for
  5. If I ever won the lottery it would be 1) Detective 27 between 7 to 8.5 2) Batman 1 as above 3) Captain America 1 as above 4) Planet Comics 1 as above 5) Suspense Comics 3 in any condition !! however in reality I'm after the following 1) X-men 94 9.0 2) Shock Suspenstories between 6.5 to 8.5 (a poor man's suspense 3) 3) Batman 238/DC 100 page 8 9.4 4) Detective 404 9.4 5) Spidey 121 9.4 At present even my "reality" grails seem in a galaxy far far away
  6. These turned up in the airmail from Ted Superworld Just me and my shadow......... And a few copper age beauties - great stories, cool art and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg for high grades
  7. [ Here you go - RedSector Art His art is much more stunning in person and in B&W. His inking is some of the cleanest you will ever see. Check here for a scan of the commission he did for me - Top Row, Third In Jaw Dropping, just jaw dropping Looks like I'm saving up for some risso art Think I'm going to buget for about $500.00 so it's either 2 pages of Bullets or one page of Bats. Wish I had a spare 5 large - can you imagine having a whole comic framed on your wall !! what was it like ordering from the site ?? hassle free ??
  8. Got my commission already. Have 1st app. of Megan, first Lono mention. Plus, the "stripper page". I think I'm good. Do you guy's know where you can pick up Risso's art on-line ?? really fancy a piece hanging on my wall I know he's from Argentina but does he live there now ??
  9. Been meaning to get this one. Maybe tonight! It's not hip-hop it's ELECTRO
  10. I haven't posted in about 3 months because I've been to busy and couldn't really be bothered to type anything But i have to say this is the best comic out there now bar none I started reading from 50 and picked up all the trades up to that issue, this story has more layers than a French Onion. I love the way they move the stories around all the time and leave cliff hangers just well erm hanging. At the end of issue 59 I thought the next issue would carry on where it left off and we would see what happens to Diz,Wylie,Loop,Shep(rip),Lono and Vic but what we get is a whole new arc and more crazy characters I just can't get enough of this comic - I think things are really going to blow up soon. Well thats my 2 cent's worth anyway. p.s. Chrisco (and anybody else for that matter) - if you haven't watched "Shaun of the Dead" yet - rent it asap, funniest movie EVER.
