Followed the board's scanner advice and got a HP7310... so much better than the olden days for me

Walking Dead needs to sustain itself in the public conscious for the next 20-30 years, long after its flagship show is over. One spinoff has already tanked. TWD hasn't a chance in hell of maintaining prices if linked to "oh, that was a great zombie show a couple decades ago." The comic should at least retain a cult following based on its strengths, but Star Wars it ain't and won't be.

Fantastic Four film effect, muted a few notches... book will normalize to true value.

How much I got my CGC 9.6 for !

I was in on the bidding for this up to abt 8k... can't help but wonder if the thread attracted way more attention/bids drat !

Came across a couple Oakland Cap slabs and swooped in... pics to come (on a new scanner, to boot)!

NYX 3, auctioned for something like 3.8k.

X-23... the Future? Hope I don't regret too much not bidding on the 9.9...

Final time payment next month, will be an AF15 CGC 2.0 SS Stan Lee... looks like 240 total SS slabs (not counting restored) in the census!

A third of the way through the Liu 2010 series (the longer one) and Really digging it... geeeeez is Miss Sinister hot -- and they gave her some real big assets, if you get my drift. At the point where Sana Takeda has taken over the penciling; I think her style works better for Monstress, but all good.

Think I have all of these also. Need to check if I have NYC #5. My NYC #3 is only a 9.4 (I think it would actually press better, may have someone look at that). My NYC #4 and Women of marvel are currently out to be graded. I do have both of her original solo series complete, and the current one complete. Two other issues to look for are Uncanny X-Men 450 and 451, 1st X-book appearance and first interaction with Wolverine. I picked up my NYC #3 about 8 months ago for $200, just before the market really spiked. I decided to pass on the first two series to assemble the Liu 2010 series (much bigger fan of the art in it). Just picked up 9 books incl. a second #1 for less than cover. Very well done sir, and I hear you ! Loooove each and everyone's contributions so far... Fairly sure I have the complete Liu series also. I have so many long boxes in the basement at this point, I have lost track of things. Of all the more recent Marvel characters, X-23 just seems to have the most room to really explode, especially since to this point her popularity is based on slow growth in comics rather than on wider media hype. If she ever gets a confirmed movie announcement, or better yet a solo flick, some of these books will become unattainable. Damned good point about the growth. Way more Deadpool than Ultron, that's for sure.

Grew up with Maximum Carnage and its nonstop battles... Bagley to me, next to McFarlane, is the definitive Venom artist.

Pretty happy with all the Subby love, while Hulk/Thing/Thanos have been everywhere... will be fun to do a tally from time to time for the top 3 appearance-makers. Ultimately, the sheer diversity we've got here makes the thread fun : )

Last I checked #4 prices were doing pretty well, no? Compared to, say, X-Force #2 (2nd Deadpool)... granted a mass-produced issue.

Fortunate that my first LCS was Flying Colors, and they're still rockin' it
