  1. My fault. I knew something would mess up, first time I've set a poll up here. I did select 3 maximum votes but there was obviously something I missed. Talking about obvious somethings I apologise for missing the annual as well.
  2. I voted 23, 39 & 57. 16 ran them close. I kinda felt sorry for #10 when compiling them as I have a feeling it will garner no love but included it for the sake of completeness.
  3. Sounds like we need a poll! Three votes each, hope I've set it up correctly. I pasted together the relevant covers for reference, again, hope it's not too large for the forums.
  4. It's an early Doom with the best cover, imo and a killer copy. Sounds like a no-brainer to me. I'm missing this title, I would be happy with a low mid-grade copy. I haven't read them all yet, working on it but decided to read my books in chronological order so currently on earlyish Spideys and JIM's until I catch up with the FF's I've already read. But I was really surprised at how good the #38-40 were. I wasn't expecting a lot with them having lost their powers but man those issues and Mr Grimm in particular rocked!
  5. Bought a bunch of books, including a FF #48, from Claudio recently and received thoroughly excellent service. Very fast shipment, bomb proof packaging and very tight grading. He's also such a friendly & knowledgeable chap on all things comic related. A credit to the boards.
  6. I still don't have #49 but thanks to Claudio I now have my first #48 at long last. I also picked up a nice #86 and a very sweet #91 from him. Which means my 52-111 run is now complete thanks to Claudio, Kaspar and other board members.
  7. Received a gorgeous #66 from Kaspar recently, my modest run is almost complete. Thanks very much, I love it. @Knightsofold Congrats on the #1. Can't think of anything finer to have.
  8. That still seems rather harsh to give it only a 5.0 It looks really, really nice. Congrats!
  9. Great books, Grale. I would be chuffed to own them. Also nice to see someone else collecting SA pence editions on here.
  10. Picked up a nice, raw #78 the other day and thanks to Claudio I'll have a nice #86 and a very sweet looking #91 in the near future as well. Aside from a #66 that I still need that really will complete my FF run from 53-111. I will take you guys' advice and wait for the hype to fade a bit before dropping the serious cash on the 'usual suspects'.
  11. Bought a load of raw SA Thor's recently from Kasper and couldn't be happier. Amazing packaging. It's not bullet proof, it's not bomb proof, it's nuke proof!!! Very strict grading, great communication, cheap as chips shipping cost and books were supplied with mylar bags & full-backs! Superb seller and I just can't wait for his next sales thread now.
  12. You have some sweet raw books, Thoth. The only one of those you posted I have is the 55 and mine looks poopy compared to yours.
  13. Picked up a nice 82 the other day. An issue I've always had trouble finding in reasonable condition and not grossly inflated on the price. Now I only need #66 & #78 to have a complete run from 53-90. I've sort of accepted the fact that I'm never going to get a 52...or a 45..but still hoping to land a 48 & 49 at some point.
  14. Bought a load of Bronze Age Spideys from Al and couldn't be happier with the transaction. Great books, bomb proof packaging and really, really fast shipment. Honestly I've had stuff posted from within the UK that's taken longer to get to it's destination. Hope to strike a deal with him on many a future occasion. Great boardie!

Very fast shipping to the UK. Was willing to work with me on the postage cost and nice, secure packaging. All round excellent service! Thanks.
  16. Great communication, very fast payment and very willing to work with me on a price we were both happy with. I would not hesitate to sell to this great boardie again!
  17. That is a sweet, sweet #6. Congrats on such a great book. I was hoping to post a #36 on here this week. Not a great copy no more than a VG but still elusive here in the UK and for those on a budget but after receiving it last week and going through it I noticed that not one but two ad pages had been removed. I've had that before a couple of times but that was on cheap, cheap books so it's back to the seller it goes.
  18. Please post feedback regarding my selling or buying of books here. Thanks!
  19. No, there's no FF4 club. Shame as it was my favourite early FF story growing up. Also a shame about Namor's head, still it's a great looking reading copy.
  20. The colours are really popping on that one. Probably the best raw copy I've seen, congrats! It's been a good couple weeks for me & ASM's. Got these two a few days ago as well. Didn't really expect to win but auctions not ending in the evening tend to go well.
  21. Got this today, been a long time coming. I know it's not SA but you guys don't mind do you?
  22. Wow, that was a steal! Congratulations. After seeing so many of these recently I've noticed the slightly inappropriate positioning of both Sue's right hand and her brother's indulgent pose. Who is really the Frightful Four here? Well it is doubly appropriate.
  23. Hey, I have one of those. Most expensive book I've bought. Had buyer's regret for about a week after but now I'm so glad I pulled the trigger on it. My scanner doesn't do it justice though, it seems to magnify every tiny flaw.
