Personally I think if the 2nd printing is the one to have, then the white variant with different artwork from the 1st printing should be the one to have.

I had bought over 30 copies of ravage 1 at a 50cent comic store blow out and unloaded in may of 2019 for $1 a piece. I’m a fool

The all black error is an amazing book. I’m jealous I don’t have one anymore but it’s hard to know which are legit and which are the “fakes”. I mean technically they are legit books just made to be the black error. But then there are legit black errors from the printing press.

This is what stopped me from reaquiring one but I do know legit ones do exist as when the book came out, I was in my local card store that sold comics and he pulled one straight from the bundle of comics he had gotten in. If my memory is right he sold it for $20 but this was in 1993 and I was about 8 years old then. I didn’t have the money for one and the red chrome called to me. So I grabbed the red chrome version that my parents bought for me

Yea all the ones he showed me by pics were completely black. Some had a slight outlining of the red chrome left but most were all black

I was wondering if anyone ever saw a newsstand version of edge of spider verse 2? I figure it should exist as newsstand were still being sold at the time but I have never personally seen one before. I wonder what it’d sell for in today’s market?

Wasn’t really a contact I just happened to meet him at local comic book store and thought he was bull sh*tying me. But after he sent those pics, I have to take him at his word. No way he could have 20 plus raw black error prints in a pile ready to be sent to cgc and then have a few graded 9.8 and 9.6. He did tell me he mostly sent high grade copies in to be graded. With that said, I wouldn’t want the “fake” one, I’d want a legit error for my collection and wouldn’t want to be part of passing off a fake for a legit one

Ugh I sold mine a few years back for $1200 I believe. I always loved the black error but once I found out some people figured out how to make them and pass them off as legit, I lost interest in reaquiribg one. Now I wish I was able to get one

I actually feel bad for newbies as when this all ends a lot of people will be stuck holding bag. There is no way any of these fringe 90’s comics could be or should be worth what they are selling for now. This will surely end with a huge market collapse. Anybody need modern long boxes. I have about 30 I’ll let go for a low low price of $20,000.

Why would doom2099 be anything when you have dr doom 616? Curious. Also wasn’t he first shown in a marvel age comic like 112 or something?
