  1. That one has great eye appeal for a 7.0. I would not have sold it.

    (tsk)

    :sorry:

There seemed to a lot of mid-grade copies hitting the market so I decided to sell before prices fell. I can get a VG reading copy for a fraction of the price.

  2. Chris really did push the envelope with those thong contests. lol

    They will be missed. :(

Shoot, just come here to see what I do next:

    Thongs... :acclaim:

Almost joined 10 seconds ago, but I have alot on my mind this weekend. I want to start off running with "ideas" I had for the WDC. I was gradually coming back around there too. It was my Saturday Night Live for chatboards, as I was a "Not Ready For CGC Board Posting Player" at one time. :(

I recommend others on here to join up too. We have some good times here and there. I met alot of "new" people at the original blog with similar interests in Moderns and movies.

I read proboards' Section 25a. Basically it says they can suspend a forum for any time for any reason. :eyeroll: RIP WDC. :(

  3. "Gaudin's entire collection [of ASMs] is estimated to be worth more than a quarter million dollars."

Er... can I see the math on that? hm

No. :P Everybody knows comics is worth crazy money these days. icon_e_hypnotized.gif

  4. My first post in this thread. Just received this today. I paid too much for it but I just love the inappropriateness of this cover. I guess it's the "Williamsport Copy"? (shrug)

Where is that pedigree book when you need it...

I used to own the Williamsport CSS #23 (also an 8.0). Bought it from Jack Juka, whom I believe discovered the collection.

  5. From the days when Lego Space sets were new :cloud9:

I loved Lego kits. Never a boring moment. :cloud9:

Before Christmas, my wife was chastising me because I couldn't come up with any gift ideas for myself. I jokingly told her she could buy me legos. The eye rolling and sarcastic comments followed, but as I'm opening my gifts on Christmas morning, what do I get? A Star Wars lego set.

My son discovered my chest of Legos (from my childhood) not long ago. Now, the whole family plays with Legos on the weekend. My wife made a Lego laptop last Sunday.

Further confirmation that I married the right woman. :luhv:

  6. One of my all-time favorites -- it came out just shortly before I discovered girls and Rock-and-Roll (which both enriched--and ruined--my life):

Still have mine. Sweet. Showed it to my son, who just laughed.

Still have mine. It's probably in my mom's attic. Amazing how little it took to entertain us back then. ;)
