It was a gaming message board.

 

Years ago, I went to the Interplay message boards and, as a complete n00b, posted a question asking if Fallout 3 was coming out anytime soon.

I got flamed up one side and down the other. That was my first lesson about the importance of having thick skin on the interweb.

Gaming message boards are the CGC boards on crack. Teenagers/twenty-somethings flaming away 24/7. Feh.
