Just curious if there are any plans to add a Copper Comics section to the forum. Is CGC resisting this new classification? Is it just something that will take time? Is it pointless? Thoughts?
thanks
I just wish eBay would set up a Copper Age comic section. Modern age now stretches the same span of time as Silver and Bronze combined. Having to wade through 1000's of new books makes it hard to find the early-mid 80's books I'm looking to buy.

Look 143. First I get into Marvel BA Horror for a while. Then It goes to DC. Then in the midst of a DC buy I fond these uber HG Charltons. Now YOU come along with these Gold Key books. I am only human. HEWWWW-MAHN! Must I start seeking Gold Keys as well!
Damn you! Damn you to HECK!
We're working on you slowly POV. You are being brainwashed one publisher at a time. You want to know what's next? Warren mags. Pretty soon, you'll be wanting Vampirella, Creepy and Eerie. Thery're comin' for ya' POV, THEY'RE COMIN'.
Is this guy fondling himself or what?
What is the deal with this cover?
... by the way a CGC 9.6 just sold for over $800 !

They are not price variants... but what about 1987 DC "logo variant test covers" (Justice League #3v2, Firestorm #61)? Does anyone know what the story is? What was the print run?
Anyone know what the print run was compared to the regular issue?

Makes me wonder if DC scan swiped this one (with another equally stupid cover)
I REALLY like that cover!
Me too! Hang ten dead dude!

Sometimes you guys get on such a roll with the DCs and the Charltons, I just gotta throw in a classic Marvel book so as not to forget........
Awesome cover!
... no matter what others may say...

I'm curious: where are those Grell drawings from? I'd guess an EC fanzine of the 1970s, but I have the Squa Tronts and don't recall anything by Grell in those. Also, I don't recall him being a fan artist before he broke in to the pros... so what gives?
I'm afraid it's nothing so interesting....

VERY cool, Thanks for posting!
Thank you
Now this is cool...

Here are some other interesting BA horror pieces I've found...
-
A cover like I posted above with Man-Wolf, that cover on it's own to me is pretty dang frightening.
"What you talkin' bout, Willis?"
To me, all I need to do is add a swinging Spider-man to eliminate any effect intended. ManWolf looks like he's ready to take a dump. Simply comical. The horror of it is simply that they would take a superhero villian and make him anything that I would be fearful of in the horror sense. Just me...Diffrent Strokes.
Man-Wolf taking a dump... that should make the next Photoshop Phriday!

I thought the Morbius stuff in Vampire Tales was pretty decent horror reading. Unsullied by superhero fluff, there was a lot of sheer vampire bloody terror.
Glad to see there are someone who will stick up for Morbius on this board!
P.S. - there is some nice Vampire Tales art up for sale NOW by Heritage (including the page I posted)... should go for relatively cheap too.

there's a reason that Marvel BA Horror doesn't get respect--it don't deserve any
Man-Wolf...a superhero spin off Hardly scary...
....
On second thought, BassGMan is right--everyone concentrate on Marvel....
What about Morbius??? I think this Marvel character deserves some consideration...

I agree about Man-Wolf. I bought Creatures #30-#37 and they aren't a very good read... cool covers though.
