Let me know if you are selling so I can get rid of my 8.0
I'd like to get in on the bidding as well!
The book is for sale, I'm just not sure of my asking price.
Did you ever decide on an asking price? Or am I just out of the loop.

Oh BTW october_fire, Social D Rocks!
FINALLY! I was wondering if this board was populated by musical retards. Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell never leaves my player for long.
I had never heard of them.
But Angelina Jolie was wearing that t-shirt in the movie "Life or Something Like It" which was on TV the other night. I was going to post a pic but I can't find one anywhere on the internet.
Anyway... back to our regularly scheduled program.

Moral of the story... Pay-pal is/are a lying bunch of arse pirates !!! Thank you for your time.

nerds own you!!!
''DC Bronze Horror comics are NOT a secret!''
didn't say they were...but...they are close to secret, just not to the people on these boards.
the more people that become exposed to them, the more people like them. maybe.
i'm working on getting a host so i can post scans of bronze 'horror' original art on your thread...
I was just goofing around and playing off of your avatar.
I didn't know much about BA horror until I came here. Am always interested in seeing BA original art.
Now for the next .
What's up with the non-capitalization?! Do you think you're e.e.cummings?!

i read dc bronze horror as a kid from finding ragged copies at yard sales etc.
15-20 years later, i am always on the lookout for nicer copies, and completing runs.
aside from that i actually love reading them! nerdy!
it seems to me that a lot of people don't know about them, and they aren't all that easy to come
by compared to marvel comics of the same era
You really are a nerd, aren't you?
Mr Potatohead, Mr Potatohead! DC Bronze Horror comics are NOT a secret!
In fact I'm having the WOPR calculate the exact scarcity of each issue.

Just don't use a picture of your wife. That would be totally creepy.
Yeah. Who would do that?
Well, I just hope I never see anyone do something like that.
Again.
What's old is new again?

One day this classic battle issue will be held in as high regards as JIM #112 (Hulk vs Thor).
Or Not.
FYI...Gene Colan got sick after drawing the first two pages of that story and so Jack Kirby took over the rest of the book. What a great battle!!!
He probably just got sick of drawing a guy in a green speedo.

Not just anyone but the dealers cannibalize themselves. I've just sold at small Seattle cons but even at that, as I am just laying out my boxes for the first time, before anything is even organized sometimes, there are other dealers, or helpers of dealers already trying to look through my boxes. Actually quite annoying. Once I'm setup, before the doors open, fine. But geez, some of these guys are so eager to get the first crack that they are often rude. I'm sure the bigger cons are even worse.
I don't pull the tops off my boxes until the doors open to solve this problem. I've also seen dealers rummage through my inventory in an attempt to undercut my pricing....
Jim
I've heard this is a problem with selling at Cons. Low-life dealers trying to get rid of competition. Bad dealers... bad!

I've always thought that Gaines was one of the nicest guys to ever be involved in the comics business, and I was really sad when he passed away. He went before his time.
Here, here.
