Do you know what they were asking for them? Just curious as these are now starting to pop up in lower grades.

$70 raw and no guarantee of grade.....I would wait as this reminds me of the Venomized 1:50 variants that can now be found graded 9.8 at around $60.

This may be another one for sure... could be the best one yet!

I would go lower especially if this book could grade as low as 8.5 as one speculated. As a buyer you would absolutely have to leverage that comic link sale to your advantage.

Glad you got this back and thank social media for exerting the pressure needed to get this art back in your hands.

That being said, what do you think is a realistic value for this book? I know prices have been all over the place for this.

Man this sucks...totally drains your love for collecting when something like that happens. I'm pretty sure that dirt bag knows a thing or two about Dell'Otto and it will probably resurface and I will be on the lookout. You should also post something if you haven't already on those dedicated facebook pages for Dell'Otto, bulletproof etc etc. Who knows..maybe one of Gabs reps take notice and will do something generous for you. Just saying..hoping for the best.

Don't forget this bad boy which I'm pretty sure sold for around 5-6k direct deal. This one had alot of promise since there was no graders notes and was a good candidate for a bump in grade with press.

Wow hard to believe this sale is legit.... A 9.6 just sold on comiclink for 7K and we know of a private sale of 12k for a 9.8 less than a year ago.

There is a trade and virgin cover out there if you are interested. I agree it's also an awesome piece of art!!

There was a 667 9.2 on Ebay recently and they were starting at 5k and a buy it now at 7K. Of course the buyer ended that auction early and I wonder what it settled at.

Was this Scott's Collectibles copy? I was offered a 9.4 last year at NYCC and I regretted passing at the opportunity.

Their respective art is not the problem from what I heard. They just don't like each other.

It's always a treat to see another ASM 667 pop up in any grade at this point. Give me some hope that I will come across this unicorn.
