  1. Four off the top of my head. And I guarantee you no one on these forums has read all four of these...

Strangers in Paradise... but it would have to be about 9 hours long...

100 Bullets... this has movie written all over it, although it would have to be more than one film.

Lurid... screw 30 Days of Night, this is IDW's best book, period.

Sin City... tell me Marv and Miho don't belong on the big screen...

  2. See personally I collect cat-fight covers from pre-code romance books, horror books with monkeys on the cover, and any flyfishing covers. I used to collect Hitler covers but I had so many customers for them I let loose with my own books and stuck to collecting things few other people wanted.

  3. Rich Conley knows a heckuva lot about comics, but his lackeys are woefully ignorant when it comes to back issues. His Heroes and Fantasies chain is one of many 'collectible convenience stores' where they hope you trip on something brightly colored and buy it.

One bright spot about dealing with Rich is he will buy darn near any pre-1970 comic with fish on the cover, and any Fawcett book with dogs on the cover...

  4. FF #51 - I have handsold this book at least 30 times offering to buy it back if the customer didn't think it was one of the best stories they had ever read. No one has EVER brought one back.

Tangled Web #4 - I couldn't believe how good this was the day it came out. It has deserved the awards it has won, and I think it stands with any Spidey story ever written
