In an attempt to keep this from turning into a DC-only cover-fest, here's an Atlas pre-hero. Sorry, guys, it's my favorite cover of all time, so I can't help posting it at every opportunity.....

I wonder if they ever thought about having some/all of the monsters duke it out in an issue or two. Sort of a comic version of the Godzilla "Destroy All Monsters" movie.
Hey Chris, you mean something like this??
Except have Fin Fang Foom vs Tim Boo Ba? A Pre-Hero Celebrity Death Match?
Gargantus vs Monstrollo!
Gorgilla vs Gor-Kill
Rrro vs Colossus!
Dang, that'd be SWEET!

Those AAFs are SPECTACULAR. You just rarely see them in any decent grade.
Thanks for sharing, Adam! Keep them coming!

Botched tape removal attempt. Amazing Adventures #1. no, not the Bronze Age one. The OTHER one. It was a long time ago. It had tape on it and I tried to remove it. I learned the hard way that it's best to leave it on there. And looking back, I have no idea WHY I tried to remove it. I have other books with tape and didn't try to remove them.
Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh. Ah well. Live and learn.

Yes, those are super suh-weeet.
Say Adam, be sure to let me know when you get tired of those and want to pass them along.

Oh, and a couple of those books had higher reserves than I really wanted to go for given what I'd already spent. Maybe I'll bid on 'em next time they come up.
-
Cool book. Also on your Vault wins!!!!! Surprised you didn't go after the few TTA's they had as they would have fit in with your other acquisitions.
Thanks Steve!
I had to stop somewhere so I picked the books I reeeaaaalllly wanted. Plus I just picked up a few books from Blazing Bob. So now I've gotta sell some stuff.... It's a vicious cycle, this collecting sickness, ain't it??
