  1. I pulled out that ASM #100 Double Cover to take pictures and while looking for it I discovered I had another one with the correct notation on the label and they both have the blue line in the middle so that is great.
  2. The #100 is a CGC 8.5 I will have to dig it out and look for the blue line in the middle of the pages now.
  3. I have a CGC graded ASM #100 Double Cover that says Mark Jewelers on the CGC label but I think that issue is supposed to have a different insert in it but not really sure. I also have a nice raw ASM 315 with the Double Cover and Mark Jewelers insert and since I have owned it I have seen two more for sale just like it so at least 3 of that one exist.
  4. another Mark Jewelers Double Cover also has the star on the cover.
  5. Got in a low grade ASM Annual I did not have, need more cool ASM Double Covers.
  6. #151 & 156 some of my all time favorite Spidey issues can't wait to see them. #360 triple cover is very cool also. Here is another one of my latest buys.
  7. Still nice Double Covers. you should start a run of Incredible Hulk with Double Covers, I have seen a lot of those over the years, even had a few.
  8. I did a little searching ebay for the match for that book but I never figured it out, very cool though.
  9. I was very tempted to buy that 361 triple when you listed it but was very worried it might be a Frankenbook. How to tell if a Double Cover is real. 1st. Thing to look for is do both covers line up with no overhang from either inner or outer covers, top, bottom and Right edges. 2nd. Does the staples look tight and the holes are not buggered up, the staples usually leave tiny indents at the centerfold make sure there is only one set of those dents and that the staples lay in those and also that there is no extra holes in the spine of the inner cover. 3rd. If the book has any dents or creases on the covers look at both and see if these match up, say there is a big thumb dent on the outer cover there is usually a smaller one on the inner cover in the exact same place, or dented corner or any defects. This will not always be true but it will help prove the case. 4th. On older books the outer cover will usually be much more tanned on the inside than the inside cover will be, I have found this to be true on most all Golden, Silver & Bronze Age books. 5th. And if all this stuff above looks acceptable take a Magnifying Glass and look around all the edges, look for tiny imperfections in the cut edges and see if it they match up on all the pages and both covers, as the blades at the factory did not cut real smooth edges and leaves tiny hills and valleys, I find this to be the final answer if it is real or not.
  10. Stronguy can I ask what the CVP with and MJI is I assume MJI in Mark Jewelers Insert but I can't figure out what CVP is and now I am curious. I am very skeptical of the News Stand on top of the Direct Market Cover too but if OtherEric got it the way he said it may very well be legit, I too have a Fantastic Four book with a DC cover on it so strange stuff happens. One Big question I have is How a Double Cover with the 2nd Cover at the Centerfold could ever happen, I don't know but i have seen several of those over the years and even a CGC graded one. As for the News Stand over a Direct Market that is the only one I have ever seen or even heard of so if real it is very rare.
  11. Not sure if I posted this before but here is the News Stand one.
  12. Just got this Spidey Double Cover in, one of the few where I have both News Stand and Direct copies.
  13. Pedigree Grade 30 cent Variant how did that happen?
  14. Got a nice Squarbound one, outer cover is loose as usual.
  15. Pretty rough shape but a Mark Jewelers Issue with a Double Cover.
  16. Rough shape but Double Cover with Mark Jewelers Insert.
