New addition to my sci fi LB Cole collection! A nice mix of sci fi and toe code. One of his more detailed covers in my opinion. I love the colour scheme here. Felt like I was seeing this pop up a bit recently but the census is still low. Decided it was best to grab this now before an impending dry spell of copies being available.

Love this cover! It’s also one of those books I feel could be a coin flip for a 1.5 depending on the day.

I think this has to be my favourite of the FF run, even over number 1. I grabbed a 4.0 from an awesome boardie @alexgross.combut then went the route of a downgrade into another copy on a big trade on instagram. Then used that copy to get this one with a trade deal with Bob Storms. 3/3 in great transactions. Very happy with this beauty of a 2.5.

I’ve never crunched the numbers to determine the premium myself on average. I am also one who believes that a premium is warranted. To me, If the pages are of higher quality then so is the book, even if the number in the top left doesn’t change. That’s why you see price ranges.

Hi everyone I’m offering up a scarce and beautiful cover. Liberty comics 12 from 1946. Only 25 on the cgc census. Grade - estimating at 1.5- 1.8 but please review for your own assessment. Cover is detached. This presents beautifully in hand, looks mid grade in my opinion. In the pictures, you will notice some ink or colour showing through the inside cover. After inspecting this closely, I do not believe it is colour touch. Perhaps from the printing process. I’m not an expert so please have a look at the pictures. I also noticed this on the inside back cover, which I’ve never seen someone colour touch there personally. For example, between the R and T where it shows blue inside the cover, on the cover itself, it’s not blue. To the naked eye, I see no colour touch and there are no creases being covered. That’s my personal assessment. I’ve shown a close up of some letters too, the colour looks different in the red, but inside the cover it shows to be staining. Edit - see comment below on this thread. Proof of similar issues getting a blue label. page quality - some pages look darker around the edges but I was able to flip through this fairly easily and the pages feel supple. I did not test near the spine (will show a pic of the last page) and am not sure if this would get slightly brittle or not. I think it would be cream to off white, or at least most of the book would be. Any additional questions, feel free to ask on this. I’ve personally never held a slightly brittle book to know If this would qualify. Again, I had no issues flipping through page by page. Nothing felt like it was falling apart, still held together well. Price - $850 via PayPal goods and services including shipping to Canada and the USA. Returns - I will allow a return if I’m notified within two days of receipt. I will only accept a return if I made a mistake or did not disclose something. I did my best to be descriptive. I encourage you to ask any questions prior to purchasing. If it’s buyers remorse or a difference in grade opinion, I will not allow a return. That’s fair. I’m happy to do a trade via PayPal goods and services if the individual wants to cover the fees associated with it. It’s more expensive but ensures protection. I’m hoping with reputation and references, any interested party can deal in confidence.

I am only offering my copy of FF5 to trade down for another FF5 in a lower grade with the difference to be made up in cash or books or both. I'm also open to time payments if you wish to make up the difference in cash. My copy is not for sale and not for trade for any other books if there is no FF5 included (although you'd peak my interest in a 1 for 1 trade for FF1 or Hulk 1). A few things: The lower grade copy must have: - nice colour - unrestored and complete - no chipping - no tape - looking for page quality of off-white or better. - no staple rust - no foxing - no mold Value difference - I use GPA as a guide, so expect who ever is messaging to be good with this as well. It's a bright copy, supple pages, little chips around the edges, and some creasing that can be seen from the pics. The bottom staple is not attached to the cover. Everything else is attached. This copy has tremendous eye appeal in my opinion. Claim in the thread trumps private negotiations unless an agreement is reached. Basically I will go off whatever occurs first.
