Pretty happy, got news that my copy here came back as a 2.5 with white pages! I'll post a pic when it's in hand.

Seems like there remains much untapped Iron Man content, too.
Are you referring to riri Williams?

Collecting is like a disease sometimes. Someone drops something in your ear like 'but, it doesn't have both quotations' and now you can't own a copy without them. It's a sickness, I tell ya! A sickness!
I was hoping to find a copy with the double quotes and the blue under the table. But it was tough finding a lower grade copy in my budget recently. I settled for blue under the table and one quotation! It'll suffice haha. It's just funny how people who look for TOS 39 always reference those items.
And as the universe would have it, as soon as I purchase my raw copy (1.8-2.0ish), a 2.0 with OWW, beautiful presentation, both quotes, and blue under the table comes up on ebay. That one finished at $8,226, which would've been out of my range at this time anyway.... phew!

WW Comics sold a nice 4.5 today for $15,500. Seems the book is on 🔥 still
It’s funny. I remember wondering what legs the book would have post mcu. Guess it’s showing a big silver age key can withstand being outside of the mcu limelight. Steady demand plus less supply. The book seems to be buried in collections for the most part.

Nice, if that was mine I might honestly consider getting it conserved to re-attached the cover since it would mean a good bump in the technical grade (while still maintaining a 'blue' label).
I saw the CL one just as I was haggling out a deal for another CGC 1.5, but it was bought up by someone else before we could finalize the numbers that included a key book traded towards it. Ended up going for the sellers full asking price of $5,600, guess I should have just pulled the trigger and bought it outright. oh wellI believe it was me you were discussing the 1.5 on FB with
It actually sold for a bit more then $5600 in USD.

One of my favourite silver age books. I took a hiatus from collecting and this was my first purchase back after a year or so. Bought it raw and got what I expected for the grade. Also love the off white pages. Glad I got it when I did though, the prices were so soft and it seems to have returned to the jla movie days in terms of prices.

Agree, I have thought of running a WTB ad, but these come up so seldom on here I figure it would not shake any copies out.
I had one up for a few months, I didn't get any hits. Same with facebook and instagram. I had to go digging and ask owners that I could find and even then nobody wanted to sell (don't blame them in the least). I was offering over GPA in some cases and even then it didn't work as most of us can agree, those GPA numbers were "undervalued." I was lucky to find a dealer with a copy and work a deal.

I purchased this last week from " PopsComicBooks@gmail.com " last week, and it arrived on Monday. I have been so busy that I didn't get around to opening it until this morning. It may take me some time to sell my IH #181 and my GSXM #1 so I can repay our HELO account. Sooner or later, they will sell. Besides, how often to you get a chance to buy a legitimate piece of comic book history?
Really nice 2.0 and nice page quality. I think I looked at this copy and considered it back in the spring. Excellent addition.

Hi all
Im offering up a nice book for sale, the first appearance of ghost rider!
Price - $5,050 shipped to Canada/USA with signature.
Payment - draft or wire - once payment clears, I will ship.
Returns - none on cgc graded booksTime payments - willing to discuss reasonable time payments.
References - I will attach my kudos thread and I also have plenty of references on Facebook and Instagram.
Please note I did have this book recased and cgc encapsulated a piece of foam (small) that does not affect the book. I’m willing to work with cgc via email to get them to recase this for free. I am awaiting a response.
The pictures attached are prior to recasing and one pic after recasing showing the foam.
Any claims in the thread trump any private message negotiations unless an agreement was made via message and then its time stamp at that point.
Any other questions, please ask.

One of my favorite books of all-time wish I pulled the trigger years ago when I had the chance.
It's never too late! The market has dried up a bit on it (took me several months of actively searching for one) but maybe with some boosted sales you'll see some more copies hit the market. There's a nice 5.0 conserved with a married page on heritage now. Curious where that ends.

Time to wake this group up a bit and post my latest and favourite acquisition. Has the colour, presentation, page quality, etc I was looking for in a lower grade copy. Was lucky enough to make the deal prior to some recent auctions and eBay sales. I knew this book was prime for a bit of an uptick!
