  1. Nice pickups all! I really wanted to bid on that Strange Worlds #3, but needed to save my cash for this from last nights CLink auction: Just noticed that this came out the same month as Korvac's TOS22. -bc
  2. Wow - a Pedigree set if I ever saw one! And the #7 has White pages -bc
  3. Great books Jim! The weather effect/lack of words/injured soldier on the War 12 cover really sets a serious adult tone for a "funny" book. Classic. Do you know who did the cover? I can't seem to find any name on it from the pic and there isn't anything in the Grand Comic Database. Thanks again for sharing! -bc
  4. Nice Chilling Tales ! (thumbs u I picked this up at a small book store in Ann Arbor, MI about 10 years ago for $1.50 (a little less than three fiddy). -bc
  5. Great guess ! Didn't realize I was favoring TTA... This one is a little toasty on the edges. -bc
  6. Couldn't pass up this childhood classic "Return of the Gorilla-Man" -bc
  7. Picked up a nice TTA 25 from the last CLink auction. We have a regional grocery chain called Kroger. The creature must be reminding me to pick up a TV dinner on the way home. -bc
  8. Newest additions to the fold: (sorry for the bag glare) -bc
  9. First off, I want to say a sincere thanks to all the contributors in this thread. I've been lurking & learning since Page 1... I wanted to share my Edenwald twins that made the World of Fantasy "official pre-hero list". Question: Is WOF#18 the "prototype" for the typeface-enhanced_syllable-challenged_prehero-monster_cover-names? TOS8, TTA8, JIM54 & ST73 seem to be the next victims of this ailment. -bc
  10. Great List! Wasn't Strange Tales 60 dated 8/57 (pre-implosion)? My list would start at Strange Tales 61 which was dated 2/58.
