    Hi

Just picked this up and noticed Canadian.

How are these treated in terms of value against US editions? I am from the UK so used to pence copies being discounted - is it the same for Canadian editions?

    Cheers

As already mentioned depending on what story is missing these tend to run 35-75% of US versions. Keys are the highest %. I'm currently trying to put the complete run of BM and Tecs together and need this issue. If you decide you want to move it please PM me! Thanks

Well that is interesting, On the plus side at least our dollar seems to be making a bit of a charge as of late. Thanks for the clarification on this!

Some items you pay only HST, like comics, and maybe a brokerage fee. Depending on the value declared a lot of the time you pay nothing.

Some items you will pay HST + duty.

Some items depends on where they were manufactured (Can, US, Mexico - exempt) as well.

  3. I don't see this book going much higher than the 1.5 it sits in. Chewed corners, water damage, detached staple, stain on every page, etc........ Compared to this 2.0 - I'd say it's bang on? I heard of 2.0 that sold privately in the 13k range. Seems like the new price point is being established.

In the early 90s a fellow walked into the local comic store I frequented in Pembroke Pines Fl with a red tool box. Inside that tool box was an AF15 and spidey 1-15. He approached the clerk about selling, and was told "only the owner " could make offer on those type books. Fellow left store and I of course followed. Asked how much he wanted for the spidey books, got a price, asked if he minded following me to the bank and the deal was done. Guy kept the tool box though, wouldn't make it part of a multi thousand $ deal !

Wonder if the owner fired the clerk...........
