  1. I sent some books to be CGC graded, and after browsing their website, I came across this forum. I checked it out once a week for about 2 months before joining. I think my first post was with respect to listing your top 5 grails. I initially learned about CGC graded books via the Wizard Guide back in 2002. I had quit collecting comic books back in 1997.
  2. Let me count........1..........2............wow, 3 naked boobs are showing!!
  3. I only have one Lost Valley book, and it's an 8.5 with white pages.
  4. I've always liked those as well. I have Action #17, 22, & 30 which I think all qualify. I've got 22, 30 and 33.
  5. I've narrowed my selection down to the vehicle lifting covers.
  6. Personally, I had an X-Men #162 come back as 5.5. Plus, I mistakingly sent CGC a reprint of Star Wars #1 that graded out as 8.5.
  7. Wow, did she go on a slim fast diet or something? Maybe she was pregnant with Sweepy at the time?
  8. Popeye first appears in 1929. Olive Oyl first appeared in 1919. I was amazed at that. Olive's first boyfriend was Ham Gravy. Of course this is all comic strip so I don't know the comic book answers. Interesting, I never knew that. To this day I can't figure out why Popeye and Bluto would fight over that piece of stick.
  9. Mark, you should create a thread showcasing all your More Fun books. Those babies are awesome.
  10. You should fold the entire book in aluminum foil then place it in a microwave oven for 2 minutes as additional safety.
  11. Excellent books Bat-Hound. Keep them coming.
  12. I have all my comics stored against the shiny side. I just felt that the smoother surface would cause less wear on the comic when I'm trying to pull it out.
  13. Thanks Jeff. I love those superhero vehicle lifting covers. There are a few more in Sensation Comics that I might go after in a couple of years.
