  1. Unfortunately, it has a small piece missing from the bottom of the back cover. Otherwise, it would've easily been a 9.0.
  2. $10 for each............oh, never mind! Nice pick-up, and welcome to the GGA club.
  3. Great pick-ups. You have very good taste in books.
  4. Nice.......... all high grade copies.
  5. There's a copy of the illusive #4 on Ebay right now. I would've gone after it, but I really want a higher grade copy for that specific book.
  6. Beautiful books Dan. Hope you get some good prices on those books, and enjoy your trip to Ireland.
  7. There is a raw #5 in an ebay store right now - why don't you get that one? Seven Seas #5 That looks better than a VG, even taking the small scan into account. Can you post a scan when you get it, Skybolt? Sure thing. The book in question is the same one I took a group pic of, but here's a larger sca: I do agree that structurally the book looks like a 6.0/6.5, but it does have a stain on the inside cover, and a 1/4" hole in one of the inside story panels. That being said, I was happy with the book.
  8. There is a raw #5 in an ebay store right now - why don't you get that one? Seven Seas #5 I think that's the copy I purchased from lee's comics about a month ago.
  9. Thanks. By the way, those Tracy pics you posted are terrific. This has been a great thread to discover other people's collections.
  10. About 440 slabs total..........half of which are GA books. That being said, about 70 to 80 of the total are MA or BA books that are worth less than $30 each.
  11. Some more GGA pics from various publishers:
  12. I've heard real estate is a good investment.....and what's that I hear? Wedding bells....pm me with your for sale list.... It's ok to take a loss if it's for a good cause. Unfortunately no. I was actually engaged a few years back and had saved up some money for a house, but when it fell through, I used that money to start my comic book collection. Years later, my buying habbits have spiraled out of control, and I've spent way more than I originally anticipated.
  13. Very Pretty, Next Time I see you bidding on something, I'm going to just keep on bidding as you've got enough for any one GGA collector already. I can see that you typed something but your words make no sense. OCD......I've got it too, just have to pay for the family fun first.......my pace in collecting is much slower than Skybolts.... Unfortunately, I'm only one major event (marriage, buying a house, etc.) from having to sell a bulk of my collection. When that day comes, some major sacrifices will have to be made.
  14. Very Pretty, Next Time I see you bidding on something, I'm going to just keep on bidding as you've got enough for any one GGA collector already. Absolutely.
  15. No gaps! Really, really nice set sky! Thanks I must admit that I don't remember having so many sub 6.0 copies in my GGA collection. Most of my old label books are in the 7.0 and above range, but I started getting more desperate when decent copies weren't showing up anymore.
  16. airbrush = Need to see a dentist about that "gap". I had to somehow get rid of the light source that ruined the previous picture.
