Intresting picture, Were they found by someone else or was it actually you that found them or did I miss an earlier joke? I was in a Joking [ pun intented...Joker covers... ] mood today so I thought I would share it.

Anyone have multiple same issue Golden Age in various grades 8-10 copies deep? Recently I found multiple copies of Bat's # 1-50 in a wall that was used as insulation at one time. This is a sample display found except for my already slabbed copy included [/img]

Hey did you check out the low grade copy of TEC 35 on ebay? Maybe you can purchase it so you can have a cover for your copy. I bet you can't even tell where the piece was added to the front cover Here's the scan... Would like a unrestored cover. That book has too many large pieces added with bad artwork resto to justify the reserve listing.

The Detective # 140 was cleaned and pressed with a few small tear seals to the front cover by Susan Cicconi about 10 years ago. My guess the grade of the book before restoration was a GD+. She simply did an amazing job! Here are my unrestored copies. [/img] [/img]

These don't come up often enough to rely on Overstreet. Plus, all you need it two bidders deciding they have to have a copy and away you go. That's right and don't forget about the 19.5% juice going to Heritage as well. I will stick with my beat up coverless copy! [/img]

Thanks I paid $247.00 for the auction win and expected the book to be over the $300.00 mark. Back cover has no major problems and book does have nice appeal. Now I have to collect more Actions from this time period!! -
