I know of a store that had copies on the shelf, smaller store but here in the Orlando area. Direct market too.
Sorry no pics, but my word is gold weather you want to believe it or not.
And the other store, being a chain is likely Coliseum of Comics which I also know they got copies of this from the local communities and such.
Don't worry they want at lest $100-150 I bet for that book. Most expensive back issue store I have ever seen.
They have discount cards, and programs for subs to make it cheaper on some of their stuff. The owner hates speculators, but new books always match eBay presales, or higher on re

Still, I pull gold from their bins for cheap on the regular.
I pulled quite a bit of Gold from their bins cheap last week, but that's not the problem I have with them. I have np with a shop charging going rate in back issue bins or wall books that's fine with me. I either pay it or I don't.I was impressed how up to date they actually were.(BTW they use Graham Crackers website to price saw it myself.)
What bothered me was their wall books are 25-40% over Ebay going price.
I think they reason why they have so many nice wall books is nobody buys them. Just my thoughts after visiting 2 of the shops. Now if they were all NM+ on the way and they wanted to charge that okay I am fine with asking a premium. I am quite sure all those books were not NM+.
I agree overall it's a great shop but wall books are a bit marked up my guess is to offset all the rewards programs as most people will use rewards to grab more expensive stuff (if you sub with them you can rack up alot really fast)
or wait for the buy 1 get 1 50% off days

You are correct, he is alive. I assume they will explain the switch later on, but who knows. I am sure it is just one more move in Marvel's plans for an entirely female universe. Maybe it will be written really well and most of us will like it, but I doubt it.
Are you saying the next event is all new all female marvel now? Damn i have alot of back issues to grab first app of every marvel female i will be rich i tell you!

I was waiting for this thread i started on these and the star wars action figures variants but these to really hard to follow if i had a easy checklist or quick reference i would probably pick up the easy ones. Besides the 1:100 what covers seem to be the highest value? I noticed the black panther #1 seems to go for around 20

So Im pretty convinced that Miles Morales has a good chance of becoming a big property with Marvel. His 1st appearance and various variants have already took off awhile ago and by no means are slowing down especially with the announcement of the new animated film. Who knows what will happen next with the character, but if you wanna play it safe now's the time to look for some early Mile's books on the cheap with potential growth.

At 3.00 bucks and a considerably low print run this is almost a no brainer.
Also it helps that its a very easy book to search on the bay among the ocean of spider-man variants/reprints
I got myself 5 copies just to be on the safe side
Good call i also believe in the potential of miles. All new ultimate comics spider-man #1 (his first series) can still be found under $20 but the bag makes it hard to get a 9.8 i have went through about 8 and still no 9.8 candidate

I'm just about over the big 2 altogether. new this, brand new that, rebirth, all new now. I can't keep up. I have not bought a single Rebirth book, or read any yet even, but am just too tired to care and spend my money anymore on these guys.
These reboots are needed because, well because readers just can't jump onto the story. Its too complicated so every 20-30 issues another reboot. Just like Marvel Now (yes its called the same as the first one they did) coming in the fall this year.
I was hoping that was a joke i refuse to buy any more #1s from marvel titles that are already running and man the ebay listings and back issue bins are going to be screwed file this under "all new all diffrent marvel now 2016 vol 2 issue 1.5 variant h"

One i can not find in the wild or anywhere else for that matter is ms marvel #1 5th print i have actually come to the conclusion that this print was just skipped all together as i been putting together my set for the past few months i have yet to see anything proving its existence. Can someone please confirm that this just does not exist so i can move on.

Been talking about this renewed interest in this book on the pre-heat thread a few days back
I have noticed the normal cover being snatched up on the bay also my lcs had a few sitting at $20 idk if they took them to the back or someone grabbed them but they are gone. The animated film is being done by Sony so if anything it will bring publicity to miles on a new level (every spidey movie thus far has had annoying levels or marketing) if the rumors come out to be true miles on the big screen handled by the lego movie guys has potential as a film. Will it translate into comics idk

I think the rom and m.a.s.k. movies being developed as a shared universe with gi goe so might have a chance to bring them all up

I think modern variants with nothing special about them will crash and burn. I feel bad for some of the people that get sucked into the hype. Hopefully its just desperate flippers selling to each other. I mean its getting real crooked.

I wont dismiss the new movie yet, i will hold my judgment until at least the 2nd traile.r im hoping they can revamp it enough but not to much and give some kick giant robot vs monster battles. Idk what the budget is but something a bit ahead of pacifc rim would be awesome

With the movie versions(costumes and chrecters in them? being so diffrent from the orginal and boom comic versions i wonder if it will cause any heat to any of the books at all.

I feel your pain but yes this story has so much build up that it has to come to a violent end i cant see it being drawn out to long without ruining the epic feeling of the first half....for me its a great time to be a comic reader with this and saga when they both end those will be two runs hard to replace
