    40% off Trades/hardcovers at my local. Nabbed Divinity volume one, Crossed volume one, and my favorite pick: Absolute Sandman Vol one. I’ve never read the series but I’ve always wanted to, figured I’d go all out with the Absolute, love the way they look.

    Punk rock! Rebellion! Freedom! I picked the same username I used in high school (when it was slightly more relevant) and honestly I wish i would’ve picked some comic book related. I think when I signed up I was in a hurry because I really wanted to post something so just picked what I already knew. I just changed my avatar. The new Mister Miracle is fantastic.

    I typically use eBay for books I want ASAP, or are generally more readily available. Or on bigger purchases because I’m a sucker for eBay bucks. With the boards I’ll echo what others have mentioned, the books come to me. I expand my tastes a lot with the sales forums. Also a great way fill in run gaps. The personal touch a lot of the sales threads have make buying on here better than any other online platform.

    Speaking of Jim Mooney... One of my favorite GA Tec’s. It was love at first sight with this book. Had the pleasure of buying it from Bunky Brian. Here’s a couple interior pics of the most memorable part of the story for me: Batman and Robin battling the Pied Piper and his goons on a giant organ. Cheesy lines ensue.

    I’m very bitter about the recent sales of TT 12. Mostly because I didn’t have it on my pull and ignored it. Love the character, want him and Metal to do well, but now I have to pay $30 bucks for this book?
