  1. Well that puts an end to TWD for me. I don't care if it is being fairly true to the source material. TWD is not the same any more. There are too many sick people in the world that I cannot support a show that could put any more twisted thoughts into their heads... I hope Darryl's the last man standing when this all ends.

At least I still have Westworld on Sunday nights :applause:

Bro...come on. Yes bashing in heads is a bit twisted but Negan is actually a fairly sane guy. The Governor was a lot more twisted than him. Especially in the comics. I mean watch whatever you want, but as a person who watches HBO shows. .(known for being much more graphic). you're really saying you're done with TWD?

  2. Who knows what the book will be worth in 10+ years. But recently it seems to me that its losing its steam. I see a lot of copies not selling with asking prices that would have easily sold six months ago. And it seems the 9.8 value has dropped 100-200 bucks.

Big fan of Deadpool...never been a fan of the hype of this book. But I'm also not hoarding multiples.

  3. Wow. There is less than a 6,000 difference in sales for Amazing Spider-man #18 (71,159) over Spider-Man Deadpool #9 (65,502). I wonder if SMDP can overtake ASM in a few months as the top Spider-book?

Wouldnt surprise me, SMDP is a great book. I dropped ASM at issue #4. But that's just me.

  4. Alright, who nabbed the copy of WTOTF 5 from the bay. The 3.0 white pages. I want names! :sumo:

I was hoping that would have stuck around a few more weeks so it could be my birthday present.

At that price, I think u can do better. Thats a rough looking 3

Perhaps I could. It was a best offer so I was going to start around 5. There's a pgx 4 on there through MCS but im swerving on that price.

Just seems like a rare book, not even sure what i should expected to pay. I know a low grade is probably my budget. ill post a WTB on my birthday if i dont find one before then.

  5. While I really enjoy that theory, why would Harris' character say things like "I didn't pay all this money..." and "I'm never going back..." (to "reality")

Did they program him to act like a visitor?

I can't recall. When did he say "I didn't pay all this money"? Besides, my understanding is that there was money being spent within the game on hookers, drinks, etc... I figure that a bot programmed to test the game would need to be under the conception that he is an actual gamer. So he would believe that he's human & has been trapped there playing this game over & over since his inception 30 years ago. I'm sure there have been some details that eluded me though. "I'm never going back" was in reference to his mandated programming of retesting the game from the start, imo. I figure the reason the little girl said the maze isn't meant for him, is because he's just a bot & it's meant as a secret bonus for hardcore gamers.

Okay I'm hip with that. He said "I didn't pay all this money..." in the first episode before he dragged Dolores into the barn. I dont remember the rest of the sentence. But that just stuck out to me as a clue that he's a rich visitor and he's been coming here since the beginning. He's probably done just about everything and now wants to go deeper into the world.

  7. Wow...I really enjoyed the first episode. Definitely an exciting idea for a show. I'm betting they will answer these questions eventually...but I wonder how much people are paying for their visits? And how far in the future is this set?
