  1. The Mystery In Space #1 came from Ted at Super World.
  2. I picked up this beautiful Strange Adventures #9 which goes perfectly with the Mystery In Space #1 that I picked up at the Yorba Linda Con down the road at the end of January.
  3. Bought mine from Gator a couple of years ago. I think I paid $1,200 for it. I’m very happy with it!
  4. Jim was absolutely fantastic to deal with! I bought an amazing Vault Of Horror #35 from him. Shipping was lightening fast! I hope to deal with him again in the future!
  5. Bought a great Hawkman #11 from Jim. Fast shipping and a real pleasure to deal with.
  6. It’s actually darker. Too much flash on the first photo.
  7. I picked up a nice Detective #205 at the CalComicCon in Yorba Linda. Except for the small piece missing on the right side of the cover, it’s a very glossy cover. I’m pretty sure it will get at least a 4.0 or a 5.0 when I submit it to CGC. The best part was I only paid $150 for it!!??
  8. The bigger miracle is that 73 years later, it is now part of my collection and it’s not going to a wrong or any other address!!!?????
  9. He most likely moved after he received the membership kit. It looks like he moved around a lot during his lifetime! http://obituaries.the-journal.com/obituaries/the-journal/obituary.aspx?n=jack-ott&pid=173267316&
  10. Not sure what you’re talking about?? His name and address are very clear and legible! Maybe you have a bad phone?
  11. Yes I did but not until yesterday. Based on what I saw a similar one sell for on Heritage in 2002 for $1,265 that did not include the mailing envelope, I think I did well and I’m very happy! https://comics.ha.com/itm/memorabilia/comic-related/junior-justice-society-of-america-kit-dc-1945-this-junior-justice-society-of-america-kit-contains-an-original-envelope-/a/803-6582.s
  12. I picked up some great stuff at this show!!! I could not believe I finally found at Detective Comics #205 (and at a fantastic price)! Love this show!
  13. Can someone tell me why CGC would put on the label “very small amount of dried glue on spine”? To my mind, it serves absolutely no purpose since the amount of glue on the spine was so small that it did not warrant a conserved label. When there is writing on book, I have yet to see “writing on cover”. So why did they do this? It should not have been put on the label in my opinion!
