  1. Honestly DC has had this problem also. Wonder Woman is promoted as one of the big three, but at the same time has problems maintaining a solo book in modern times. She never had runs approaching Batman, Superman, or even Green Lantern and Aquaman. The longest running solo modern DC female character is Catwoman. But to give both Marvel, and DC credit they do keep trying. Catwoman Vol. 1 - 4 issue mini Catwoman Vol. 2 - 96 issues Catwoman Vol. 3 - 83 issues Catwoman New 52 - 53 issues Wonder Woman Vol. 1 - 344 issues Wonder Woman Vol. 2 - 228 issues Wonder Woman New 52 - 53 issues Where did you get 344? The last issue was 329 and there were no special issues to increase the count. WW v.3 - 59 issues - not really sure why they decided to reboot/renumber after v.2, but the only reason it didn't run longer is because everything (including Action, Detective, Batman and Superman ) was cancelled to make way for the New 52. Superman v.2 - 228 issues Green Lantern v.1 - 38 issues Green Lantern v.2 - 224 issues - including the reboot with continued numbering 4 years after the book was cancelled (after the 89th issue) and the title change to Green Lantern Corps at the end of the run Green Lantern v.3 - 183 issues Green Lantern v.4 - 67 issues Aquaman? AQUAMAN? WTF? v.1 - 63 issues - including the 7 that were added 6 years after the original cancellation v.2 - 13 issues v.3 - 77 issues v.4 - 39 issues plus a few minis If you include issues 600-614 (there are considered part of V1) from 2010-2011 and the original run you get 344 329+315 Volume 1: 329 Volume 2: 226 Volume 3 : 44 (Post infinite crisis / one year later) in 2006 Got us to 599 so the revamp began with issue # 600
  2. Anybody? Sorry, I'll get right on this. WOW, ha, good 'ol Marvel! probably Wolverine After reading issue #4, I really hope that's not why people are buying it. Same here but I doubt it's Morlocks and I doubt it's New Avengers. The only other thing is what maybe happened to Rick Jones
  3. Anybody? Sorry, I'll get right on this. WOW, ha, good 'ol Marvel! probably Wolverine
  4. OLD MAN LOGAN #8 GWENPOOL #4 DEADPOOL #15 CW2 CIVIL WAR II #3 DETECTIVE COMICS #936 NIGHTWING REBIRTH #1 CONAN THE SLAYER #1
  5. Got mine this morning as well! I hope they're packaged alright, the Batman book made me nervous when I opened my mailbox
  6. That red background will help differentiate it from the 1st print run as well. I think the 1st run won't be affected by this new one.
  7. I use to have this card. Wish I still did, I would to get it signed by him. . Nice, this was Spawn Vs Angela in 1995 from a 54 card set WildStorm Here's the back:
  8. Looks even better in hand doesn't it ! -J. Sure does! There's a Dell'Otto cover for Harley Quinn #1 that I just preordered Limited to 3000 copies Did anyone else's have a white spine, and a crease on the back of the spine half way down? I actually returned a set, and the second set sent still looks like that. The spine on mine is ok, no tics, no color breaks, no roll, good staples and certainly no creasing
  9. I hope he doesn't become the next Skottie Young, variants for everything
  10. Looks even better in hand doesn't it ! -J. Sure does! There's a Dell'Otto cover for Harley Quinn #1 that I just preordered Limited to 3000 copies
  11. I keep telling myself "don't get tons of variants" but, alas, I never listen. At least I'm limiting my quantity. This came today:
  12. It'll be the same print run but quantities will be limited more
  13. I weep for the current collector....... only if they 'need' that comic. It started at $1,500 on sale through Midtown for $1275 and that was just a couple weeks ago ... to be at $730 already is crazy. No wonder that owner wants to dump it. But still $730 is crazy for that book
  14. That's a boardie i think Dre sumthing?!? Yes, Dre, aka BeachBum. I can only guess he walked in and requested old cases, because he has several new books all in the old case. They were walkthroughs; don't know if he ever said regarding case requests. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9422797#Post9422797 Yep there you go. I'm not too far from their HQ, I should take a drive up there and do my own walkthrough
  15. Can they, with the barex supply diminished, sustain requests like that?
  16. Here's an article about the covers: http://www.comicbooked.com/aspen-comics-new-michael-turner-exclusives/
  17. Here's the Justice League cover, get ready for it to sell out as well:
  18. So you missed it.. its all part of the game and the smaller print run is smart - it creates the demand and the chase and guarantees that a small, family owned company like Aspen Comics won't be left with unsold copies. If you really want the Batman cover look for the Michael Turner Sketchbook from 2007. Sorry you missed out on the Spiderman book but, like others have said, sign up for their newsletter, keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for AspenComics and stay tuned Sunday for the JL book. If you really want these or the other limited release books be proactive and plan ahead for the release dates. I do understand that you were ready a 9PST for this but their website crashed due to the amount of traffic available AND once their couple IT people got it back up and running the book was released in waves and eventually limited to 1 per person. But this does not mean anything in regard to MLT's legacy it just means they were hit with more traffic at once than they ever have. But - we're all playing the game and we win some and we loose some, hopefully you'll get a "W" on the next one
  19. I contacted him and a few minutes later my shipping information was updated
  20. Did anyone who ordered the Batman #1 directly from Bulletproof get a shipping notice yet?
  21. Iron Jane cover looks great! Not sure if I can post the cover here or not
