I believe I have a sufficient amount of OCD to post a summary. First, the success of us boardies is worth emphasizing! Our total haul was 19 books. In numerical order: #5 - buttock #10 - Zolnerowich #11 - shortboxed #16 - Straw-Man #17 - Ricksneatstuff #30 - LordRahl #33 - Ricksneatstuff #34 - Ricksneatstuff #38 - Chickenwings #39 - Ricksneatstuff #49 - Zolnerowich #50 - Bat34 #51 - Tim Weaver #53 - Artboy99 #56 - Ricksneatstuff #58 - GreatCaesarsGhost #59 - shortboxed #69 - Chickenwings #70 - Ricksneatstuff Thus, out of 73 Planet issues, 26.0% of these are in the hands of boardies. Perhaps a more relevant metric would be based on the total number of Church books that were up for auction. There were 14 missing/lost/misfiled Planet issues that didn't make it to the auction: 25, 37, 40, 41, 55, 57, 62, 64, 65, 66, 67, 71, 72, 73. So based on 59 available Church Planets, 32.2% are boardie-owned. That's nearly one-third of all the books. A very impressive showing! If I left anyone out, or if there's anyone late to post their harvest, please let me know. -------------------- NOW, onto the overall performance of the Planets: This adds up to a grand total of $697,511. And to all a good night! -

Yeah, it seems like with about 37 minutes to go, we're starting to the exponential escalation phase of bidding... (for all those math geeks out there) -

My high bid on Planet #1 is still holding fast. But seriously, what's the point of trying to jockey into the highest bidder slot right now? It's just forcing prices up ever higher. There's still 3 days to go... -

It's kind of fascinating to see the Church copy of Planet 26 sitting next to the pedigree-less copy, the latter of which has superior colors. -
Hmm. Page quality as a game of roulette. Seems about right to me.

The seventy-third of seventy-three books to complete my Planet run. Drum roll... PLANET #56 This was one of the first issues of Planet Comics that caught my eye and truly seduced me to the charms and sublime grace of Planet Comics. After scanning eBay for many months without any luck, I finally found a lower-grade copy at a comic con in Chicago. This was back in 2010 or thereabouts. So technically, I did own a copy of this issue pretty early on in my budding collection. Dial forward to 2018 -- when I learned the hard way that if you upgrade a book, wait until you receive that book before selling your undercopy! So basically I had gone from completing the run to being one short. But good luck and timing eventually circled back my way. Actually, it was @Ricksneatstuff who circled my way, kindly offering to sell me this absolutely gorgeous copy at a reasonable price. So I am indebted to Rick to filling in the very last gap in my collection. A great book to finish out the run.
