  9. In keeping with the theme of color > number-in-the-big-white-box, I’m quite pleased with this one. Deep purples!
  10. Congrats! What a great copy. Fine’s finest and one of the very best of the GA!!
  11. Agreed. “More than 60” reasonably implies the early rivets are not included in the auction. Alternatively, maybe Metro only has ~60 MH Planets (with any sort of missing issues) and no more than that.
  12. The email was nothing special, just their usual generic, “hey bub, we have another auction starting soon” email.
  13. Rick, we really should sort this out beforehand! No need for us to go nuclear on each other!!
  14. My guess is these are coming from the personal collection of Metropolis. But I could be way off on this. "color strikes" -- spoken like a true Planet connoisseur!
  15. By way of today's ComicConnect.com email: JUST ANNOUNCED - over sixty issues of Planet Comics from the mighty Edgar Church/Mile High Collection will be added to Event Auction #37.
  16. Yes, I fully agree! Though I was hoping you meant that you were planning to organize another historic Planet sale on the boards!
  17. Good times at 2018 Wizard World Chicago. The Flame's got this situation all under control!
  18. And your number 1 GA gal? Let me guess: Phantom Lady? (not sure if she's a redhead though)
  19. Nah. The grader Notes are usually worthless. My guess is the spine is weak. Who knows about the back cover, though I love books with back cover defects!
  20. Thanks Lou. I'm thrilled to have scored it. Agree, for a 3.0, the cover shows really well. I realized it was going to be a "go big or go home" scenario. I'm just relieved that @atomised didn't go bigger than me!
