  1. Good thing! But Being that this same account just "sold" an AF 15 in cgc 4.5 for the same price as the asm1 =$6,995 (which is also $'10,000 UNDER Fmv) , 10 days prior to the asm1 sale. mixed in with the only feedback received is from selling clothing... (Over a year ago) kind of says a lot... but good luck Yikes
  2. What good does it do to the thief if Paypal would just reverse the transaction if it was a scam?
  3. Everyone is different, but for me, I’ll say it’s very helpful starting small and understanding the hobby as you buy/sell in figures you are more comfortable with. I think you’ll also find there are more nuisances when it comes to SA keys, and pricing them is not so cut and dry. Starting small doesn’t mean you won’t get to where you want to go, but I do believe it will help you develop the experience to better evaluate the situation when that grail book pops up. My 2 cents.
  4. Just got a book from Jon - very nice guy, great communication, and fast shipping! Was a pleasure dealing with.
  5. Congrats on the fine bronze pick-up! Just how you can hope for a grade, mostly points knocked off the back!
  6. Agree, especially on SA books, it's probably a bit harder to tell because the prices can swing so much from example to example. On bronze keys, it does seem to be fairly consistent that it's an upcharge for the certified sig.
  7. I think the premium for a signed copy is slight and may even possibly be negative. Not much doubt that there are some buyers who find the signature a turnoff. Placement also matters, I think. If I were contemplating getting Stan to sign at this point, I would only do so on a low-grade copy. I don't think I've ever seen a Stan Lee yellow label sell for even or less than a blue label. At the minimum would expect the up-charge for what he charges for signature.
  8. Looks nice! Go for it! The creases are what's killing the book, but if you don't really notice them, then even better!
  9. I enjoyed reading his responses.
  10. Just bought a big key from Chris and it was very smooth. Communication was great and very reasonable, and he shipped the book out very quickly. Would do business again with!
  11. Really interesting findings (even if it's a few years ago). I need to make a determination on which comics I had collected when I was much younger should be slabbed, and the rest I should re-look at the backing boards and plastic covers on them. I have no doubt majority of them are just the normal backing boards from the LCS back in the day, which may or may not have been acid free.
  12. Just purchased 2 books from Brian - excellent communication, very fast shipping. Box came very well packed. Would not hesitate to buy from Bunky again! Thanks!
  13. GPA does help, although I'm curious if this one does what GPA does at half the cost?
  14. Ugh, I feel like I need to add a XMEN1 at some point...
  15. On a higher grade, the new case clarity seems helps the colors come through better.
