I had the same look on my face (similar to Superman) after watching BATMAN V SUPERMAN. What a mess of a movie. They say people don't intentionally make a bad movie but I can't help feeling otherwise when I got out of the theater. ***SPOILERS!!!!*** The movie was long by an hour. The constant god vs man allusions were beyond annoying. Do we really need to see Batman's origin again? The only reason Batman doesn't hand Superman his death sentence is because their moms share the same first name? The JLA cameos where more like YouTube videos. The dream sequences were absurd. The best scenes were in the trailers. Storylines from DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and DEATH OF SUPERMAN are fit awkwardly together. The Senate hearing was nonsensical. The legless man is angry at Bruce Wayne because...? Batman was awesome although he was more Punisher than Batman. Wonder Woman's overextended cameo was nice but the reasoning for her being in the film was over a photo that she couldn't access but Batman could? Alfred was cool. Luthor was GOTHAM / BATMAN & ROBIN overacted by Zuckerberg. Lois Lane was boring and was literally a simple plot tool. Superman? Well, Superman continues to look annoyed that he has to save people. You'd think he was made to "save the day" by being threatened from afar with a kryptonite bullet from a sniper. Emo Supes should just slit his wrists and call it a day. This was aimed more at a Transformers / TMNT film going crowd. And I, proudly, am neither. regarding the picture

I walked out being on team Wonder Woman. Her movie could be HUGE.

Has anyone compared the movie to the Redditer who had the "advanced screening"?

Saw it yesterday after work. Theater was packed. It's pretty much 5 comic stories in one movie. Could have taken 20 min out of the movie and been fine, or put in some of the scenes that were cut out and maybe it would have been better, for me anyway. Wonder Woman stole the show. When she appeared on screen, the audience clapped. When she smirked, they cheered. The Bruce/Alfred interactions were good. My main part seemed to be the Superman aspect of the movie. Just didnt seem right. Doomsday was odd. That change I didnt like. If they didn't darken down Superman and Wonder Woman's costume, if Lex was played by someone else then I think the movie would have been much better. The audience still cheered and clapped at the end. This seems to be a either you will leave the theater excited or you wont type movie. No inbetween. I would have loved a little more reflection on what happened to Batman the last 20 years, what happened to Robin exactly, what happened to Wayne Manor. Surely someone knows how to portray Superman on the big screen and give him a solid story. Adapt a comic book page for page if you have to. I'm sure Civil War will be the better of the two movies. Seems like DC/Warner is away a huge opportunity. Cant wait for Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman though.

I dont think 4 years ago when they filmed MOS they had plans on Affleck as being Batman.
