  1. Walmart has them for $22.00 off list price right now.
  2. officially canceled per http://www.hitfix.com/whats-alan-watching/funeral-plans-for-2014-15s-network-tv-new-series-casualties
  3. He's not going to be a regular going forward. Think he has some other things lined up, hence the "death' and vortex to allow him to return if his post Flash opportunities suck.
  4. Fast payment and great communication.
  5. Btw, is that Aquaman's trident and Wonder Woman's lasso? Aquaman's Trident, Wonder Woman's lasso, Batman's belt, Superman's cape... Looks like Sinestro's ring and another ring as well.
  6. If that's your interpretation of events, go ahead. As previously mentioned, I could have just posted the buyer's ID and said he had buyer's remorse. However, I posted an honest summary of what happened. Hopefully, he would have found this thread and posted the messages and called you out as a liar. Why block him for you wanting him to jump through hoops to get his refund? You don't like eBay's policy, no one is forcing you to continue to do business through there. I would tell you to F off if you sent me those emails wanting to skirt around the rules that way.
  7. Agreed! Here's another one to add to the list: ricklinman Before explaining this situation, some backstory. Due to ebay's doctrine of assuming that all sellers are lying, thieving dirtbags even if proven innocent, I started sending a note out with all orders asking for buyers to contact me with any questions/concerns about their orders by selecting "general question" as the subject of the message. That prevents a case from being opened automatically. Unfortunately, ebay also issues strikes against a seller for a "defect" when a buyer returns something if they select "return request" as the subject. As we all know, comics are just like toasters. They either work or they are defective, so comic sellers should be judged by the same standard. (Sarcasm intended) The buyer above had made several purchases over the past year and always left positive feedback. Everything seemed fine with him and I never expected any problems. However, he did not select "general question" when he contacted me about returning a book because he didn't agree with the grade and a case was opened. I told him to return it, and I would issue him a refund upon receipt. After I received the book, I sent him an e-mail asking him if I could send the refund (plus $10 to cover return shipping and for his time) as a separate payment and reiterated the punitive ebay policy. By sending the payment separately, this would bypass the punitive ebay return process. I also asked him if he could just allow the return to expire after I sent his refund as the separate payment. So I waited, and waited, and waited for a response. Nothing over the last two weeks. After giving up on hearing back from him, I just went ahead and sent him the refund through ebay for the amount of the original purchase. If he would have honored my request the first time, I would have just sent him a refund and told him to keep the book (he bought it for $25) and all would have been resolved. Instead, he had to open the Item Not As Described case, and then refuse (apparently) a refund for more than the original amount. After all, revenge is better than money... Since this buyer refused to respond to my request or my e-mail, I have no choice but to block him to protect myself. I would suggest everyone else do the same. Why block him? Seems like we should block you
  8. *ahem* I saw the film Saturday. There was no pre, mid or post credit scene.
  9. The chick from the first Flash tv show will probably take it over.
  10. When I do the con here in Little Rock it literally is a 365 day a year job. Always working on the current one and as soon as that one is over, you start working for the next one.
  11. My second unpaid item last week is from a melisschuc who happens to follow Packers1181 http://www.ebay.com/usr/melisschuc
  12. Are you having a non payment issue? Something is "up" with this eBayer. Buying and only paying for some things, never responding to messages, sometimes responding to NPB cases opened, and now not shipping out things he/she sold: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=packers1181&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2776 My eCheck is still pending. Email received today that the bank declined the eCheck. Unless you like your items being bought and put in limbo, add packers1181 to your lists. Same issue with me. packers1181 bought a book and no payment or response. Opened a case with Ebay. Pain in the butt. Just noticed he is the one that bin'ed my Legends 3 and no payment last week.
  13. I'm not sure what their plans were initially, but given the response, they would be foolish not to have a second season. And Marvel has not shown a tendency to foolishness. Question is though, what happens if/when Jessica Jones and Luke Cage and Iron Fist all have similarly high quality production & excellent or even better reception? I guarantee that they don't ditch their existing playbook for Phase 1. They build to Defenders in 2017 like they already had planned. Then they look at DD Season 2 as a Phase 2 series in say... later 2017 or 2018. They can't really audible & try to stuff a Season 2 in before Defenders, especially if the other series of Phase 1 get equal or greater praise? They only have the production staff & budget to make so many shows at once. Marvel Television is already essentially producing up-to 3 series at a time. They're only shooting for 2 at the moment (AoS & AKAJJ) but I don't see it likely they expand to the point where they're shooting upwards of 5 or 7 series at a time, especially series that might have crossover characters) anytime soon or releasing multiple Netflix shows at once. Remember, Marvel TV is developing for both Netflix AND ABC. And we know there's going to be an AoS spinoff coming this fall or next spring. Plus AoS continuing, finishing AKAJJ, Luke Cage starting production soon, possibly a season 2 of Agent Carter. And pre-production on Iron Fist. That's a lot of resources already spoken for. Marvel's plan is a good one. I like it. And I think they stick with it. DD & AKAJJ in 2015, LC & IF in 2016. Defenders in early 2017. And then a phase-2 that probably includes a 2nd season of DD, a Heroes for Hire show to keep all of the other 3 Defenders together, and 2 new series to expand the Marvel Knights brand on TV. As much as I want a DD Season 2 like next week, I also want the rest of the Marvel Knights characters to continue the brand expansion. If that means making me wait an extra year or 2 between seasons, so be it. The Marvel brand at Disney is making money hand over fist. They can afford another season on the fly if needs be. This isnt Spike tv.

  15. And coming up small in crunch time in the big games........ Oh yeah. He is clearly the one to blame for that meltdown last year Everyone has their opinions. If the face of the franchise keeps any one of three drives going in the 4th quarter, they win.
  16. http://comicbook.com/2015/04/13/olivia-munn-cast-as-psylocke-in-x-men-apocalypse/ Olivia Munn as Psylocke
  17. You missed the earlier part of the convo. Marvel is. #4 is Chewbacca. This is the only way to get the BOBA FETT. 481 left in stock. Selling 5,000 $20.00 books in a little over 1 day, that is phenomenal. This is a AF variant from a 3rd party. Marvel is going to release a Boba AF variant as well. Why wouldnt they release one of arguably their 2nd best character?
  18. I doubt it. Marvel isnt going to pass up a chance to cash in on SW biggest potential breakout character
