  3. Ok so I'm compiling my lifelong holy grail bucket and key list. Some of these will be easy to obtain, some of them not so easy. I just need help adding to the list. I'm looking for mostly DC and Marvel Keys. First appearances mostly, but any key if you educate me why I should add it to my list. A lot of these I probably won't own in my lifetime. But some of them I could get next month. I'm also a newbie collector just about to enter my 3rd year of collecting. 4. So I'm looking for the first mention, cameo, appearance of the God: One-Above-All (multi-verse). And thanks for your help CBT.
  5. Thanks CBT. Now I'm wondering what I read about the two different OneAboveAll's is correct or what the deal is. I read that the celestial is different than the god of the marvel universe. Any idea if that's correct?
  6. Yet another different claim for first appearance (Eternals #13): http://marvel.com/universe/One_Above_All_%28Celestial%29 is actually a different one above all. There are 2 characters with the same name. This one is a Celestial. The other one is actually God of marvel universe. That much I found out. So the one I'm specifically referencing is the God of Marvel universe.
  7. My questions are: Are these books that are listed as first mention and first full appearance correct? If not what are the correct book(s)?
  8. Seeing that the "God" of Marvel Universe is the One Above All. Going off a little online digging I'm seeing that first mention is Doctor Strange 13 Vol 2 1976 and first full appearance is Sensational Spiderman 40 Vol 2 2007. I saw a couple CGC graded copies of these which makes no mention of One Above All first appearances, and these comics are going for dirt cheap. So are these correct, and the first mention and first full appearance of one above all? If not, what are the correct first appearance, cameo, first mention?
  9. One-Above-All Powers. The One-Above-All is Omnipotent (All Powerful), Omniscient (All Knowing), and Omnipresent (Everywhere). He is the most powerful being in the Marvel Multiverse. His power is unlimited, incalculable and immeasurable.
  10. This whole illuminati type stuff, bloodlines of globally powerful families, is very interesting. I know this is a fiction book, but it makes me wonder how much of the type of stuff in this book goes on out in the real world.
  11. Who else is reading this? I have to read each issue twice, it's a little crazy.
  12. Venom suit used to be a bad guy and the hosts were good guys. Now the suit is a good guy and the host is a bad guy.
  13. The Goddamned. Love this book. Delays are horrible, and it'll probably be another 4-5 months before we see issue 6, but I just power read 1-5 this morning and loved it.
  14. Love this book. Aaron has a lot on his plate so I wasn't surprised at all about the delays.
  15. I just axed over half of my Marvel titles. Image has been winning a lot more of my business lately.
  16. https://comicsheatingup.net/2016/09/28/debate-debunk-cable-and-deadpool-50-first-venompool/ 1. The symbiote is never called Venom. Pretty simple to do. 2. There are several symbiote covered dinosaurs in the issue. The symbiotes are of different colors at that. 3. The one that actually possesses Deadpool in this issue is grey/tan which the Venom symbiote is always portrayed as black. 4. When the symbiote possesses Deadpool, he does not refer to himself as Venom, nor speak in the third person, nor refer to himself in the plural “we”. These are all characteristics of Venom’s speech pattern for the time period. He does say “I want to eat your brain”, which was par for the coarse for that time, but not in the “We” So there you have it. While Cable and Deadpool #50 is a desirable book for fans of Venom and Deadpool, fans of last issues in a series, or just for rare comics, it does not appear to be the first Venompool. Is it the first time Deadpool was possessed by a symbiote, sure, but not by Venom (people can argue the semantics of that however I would argue that Cletus Kasady is not possessed by Venom even though his symbiote is the “child” of Venom.) The honor of the first Venompool goes to What If Iron Man Demon in an Armor.
  17. I managed to get 2 copes of 1 and 2 from my lcs. I'm really liking the story so far.
  18. Wong first appeared in Strange Tales #110 (1963) Kaecilius first appeared in Strange Tales #130 (1965) Tina Minoru first appeared in Runaways #1 My bad. Damn Wiki got me
  19. So I finally got to reading Doctor Strange Prelude #1. There are a ton of first appearances here. Featured Characters: Masters of the Mystic Arts (First appearance) Wong (First appearance) Kaecilius (First appearance) Daniel Drumm (First appearance) Tina Minoru (First appearance) Wonder if any of these make the movie. Anyone know for sure?
  20. If we're complaining about the lack of comic book shops....I live in IOWA!! There is ONE within 20 miles of me. ONE!!!!
  21. What's going on with Agents of Shield #3? I know issues 3 and 4 are Standoff Issues, but 3 is picking up in price for some reason... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H1.Xagents+of+sheild+%233+2016+standoff.TRS2&_nkw=agents+of+sheild+%233+2016+standoff&_sacat=0
