The results of my box opening. I was pretty stunned by the results. The sketch cover books are the thickest ones and the Negan book was the thinnest book in the box, so yeah I don't know how to explain how I ended up with what I did.

A good american comic that is like manga is Monstress put out by image, the art is amazing and has a great story. I just finished reading one punch man and the story is great. It makes fun of all the typical stereotypes and is just a good read all around. The manga goes on much further than the show did and they just recently started getting into the back story to explain things. Attack on titan is a good manga, but I don't think I would recommend it as an intro manga.

As long as you have it behind uv glass you should be good to go. You can buy frames with the us glass already in them from custom art shops or if you have a frame you like already you can have a piece of uv glass cut to replace the glass that is in there right now.

Awesome pickup. What is the time frame that the books run from?

I was at a store this weekend that must of had at least 200 copies of old images titles and there was only one news stand issue and it was of pitt #1.

I wondered if there was a news stand copy of that. I always see so many copies of that book, but no news stand ones

Their customer service used to be really good, but I can't even get a reply back from them now. I think they have a lot on their plate right now and might need to hire a few more people.

The whole area where artist alley was is going to be under construction, so it will be interesting to see where they put it.

Guest lineup looks pretty good for this show. I will most likely make the trip over the river for this show.

Some estate sale pickups from today

Most of the other forums that I belong to have a rule about this. If the item is not in your possession then you can not list it for sale which eliminates the possibility of receiving less than promised.

How are the crowds at this show. I am seriously considering going this year mostly for the artist they have attending.

Some of his books do not have his sig on them because like other said they get covered up, but on a lot of modern books you can open the book up and look at the credits to see who the cover artist is.

Last Friday I went to an estate sale after work that had comics listed in their add. I am glad I went because I picked up some nice books, but when I talked to the guy he said there were people there when it first opened in the day that bought a lot of books, so I could just imagine what they had because they pretty much had a full new mutants run as well as old x-men and fantastic four books. Pretty solid for $17 Then on Sat I hit the flea market early in the morning and hit it lucky. I was doubling back on my way out to check out a vendor that was not completely set up yet and noticed another one put out a crate of books. I was surprised at what I found in the crate and for only $15

I am not very impressed with all the promo posters that came out so far besideds the first one. It seems like they could do a much better job with the subject matter

I purchased a bunch of comics a month ago and there was a bunch of sketch covers in there and one of them had a double cover which I thought was odd. Are double covers normal or something that does not happen that often.
