  1. Randy Procter (Legal Burning). I think that this is my favorite of all of his covers!
  2. It was one of my favorite movies and we can still learn a lot from those Oompa Loompas!
  3. This is a book that I have been wanting for some time.... signed by all five of the Wonka kids: Peter Ostrum (Charlie Bucket), Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt), Denise Nickerson (Violet Beauregarde), Paris Themmen (Mike TeeVee) and Michael Bollner (Augustus Gloop).
  4. Thanos sketch cover by Geof Isherwood, inked by Pablo Marcos and colored by Linda Lessmann Reinhold from Tampa Bay CC 2019 and Superman sketch cover by Mike Perkins (TB Comic Con 2019) colored by Paul Mounts (Mega Con Orlando 2020).
  5. Two Preliminary covers (along with the trade covers) by Mike Mayhew are now off for framing.
  6. My Santa gift will be place under the tree this weekend. I don't know who Santa is, but I will find out soon!
  7. At Baltimore CC, I met Ryan Gary Browne who did a Variant cover of Usagi Yojimbo #6 for IDW a year or two ago. He had a few copies of his Metal Variant cover (25 were made). Five copies remained and I bought one of them and had him draw a remark on it. Apparently, a CGC or CBCS? witness came back and bought the other 3-4 copies. Someone else had supposedly put on hold (but never actually paid for) copies 1/25 through 13/25, so a few weeks later, Ryan asked if I wanted them. I said sure and he agreed to remark them for me. They are now off to CGC. I don't want to horde these so most will sold at whatever the final cost winds up being on the Usagi Yojimbo FB page. I may keep one or two of the cooler ones though.
  8. Two Catwoman sketch covers by Jennifer Allyn
  9. This was 2500 at Baltimore CC 2021 and it is NFS.
  10. I was going to wait until our tree was up to post a picture of my Secret Santa gift, but that might not be until next weekend. My gift arrived safely. Thank you Santa!
  11. It may sound hokey (is that still a word?), but I actually have fun throughout the year seeing what might be a good CGC Holiday Raffle gift. I'm not sure what this emoji should mean, but I had to add it for some reason.
  12. Sad to see this thread on page 3. Does anyone have info on a Bill Amend (Fox Trot) Con appearance?
  13. I Dream of Jeannie Wishbook #nn s/s Barbara Eden (Nickel City Con 2018)
  14. I Dream of Jeannie #1 (1966) s/s Barbara Eden.
  15. I have had one or two books that were supposed to be signed by Stan Lee that were listed on the label, but without a signature.... which was not great. I got this one back (before knowing much about JTC's sig) and was a bit ticked off until I finally found his signature.
  16. I have always thought that I preferred a signature within the title of the cover (a la Chris Claymont), but this Bob Layton placement on his IM 128 is visible, yet not too distracting from the cover art. For perfect signature placement, the award goes to John Tyler Christopher.
