  1. Cary Elwes, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn. Inconceeevable.
  2. I had a feeling that this wonderful Kadar cover was yours! Also, congrats on the Goonies cover featured by CGC today.
  3. This is not a cover or page of art... so hopefully this is appropriate for this thread. Kraven the Hunter by Mike Zeck (inked by Bob McLeod) at Baltimore Comic-Con.
  4. Catwoman sketch cover by Michael Dooney at Baltimore Comic Con.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Detective-comics-880-Virgin-Foil-Cover-CGC-9-8-WP-s-s-Jock-and-Scott-Snyder/173563222051?hash=item28692c9823:g:LDMAAOSw6-Nbr8TK
  6. That is entirely possible. I bought this on e*ay in February and sort of forgot about it. Now, it is too late to return or formally complain about it. It does look like it may have been tampered with.....a lot of work for such a low value book though.
  7. Some really great covers by Jeff and Steve! .... I do love that Silver Surfer though!
  8. I am partial to Uncle Fester. That is a great Christopher Lloyd sketch! I would have loved to see the reaction when he signed it!
  9. The full cover was $500 CDN and the added bust was $150
  10. If it is a raw book or a Blue label, you just have to bring a CGC witness to Mike's table when you pick up the cover. The witness will then bring you back to the CGC booth where you can submit the cover for Yellow label designation. If the book is already a Yellow SS slab, CGC will have to also crack the slab and bring you to Mike's table to drop off the cover. If you are cracking a slab, first make sure that you are actually on Mike's commission list for the show and also plan for enough time for CGC to open the slab (since things can get a bit hectic during a show). Good luck.
  11. I am really glad that such a great talent is moving up in the art world!!
  12. I contacted her through Facebook Messenger. Since time was short leading up to Fan Expo Canada, I had her send the books to Torrey who then brought them to the CGC booth for me.
  13. I messaged Steve and there appears to be a PayPal hold on your return. Port City Comics has pulled all damaged copies from that particular run so any returns will be refunded. I would not worry, I trust Steve with any and all of my books (FWIW).
  14. I actually would like to hear what issues were involved because Steve Hyatt is one of my “no worries “ dealers that I send money to.
  15. I have worked with Steve Hiatt at Port City Comics on and off for about 2 years (helping facilitate Frank Kadar's sketch cover commissions) and he has been great to work with. I did hear that businesses around his area (Mobile, AL) were closed this past weekend due to the most recent hurricaine/tropical storm that hit the gulf coast.
  16. Another Jennifer Allyn cover picked up at Fan Expo Canada (thanks @Kevlar)
