  1. Ash Gonzales wraparound sketch cover with Lou Ferrigno signature from this year's Nickel City Con!
  2. If you check the CGC census, all FF 236's from 0295224001-4060 were all mine. All came back WP. There were other books in those numbers, but all of the 236's were in there somewhere. I pre-graded the books at 9.8, so these are most likely 9.4-9.6's (none have ever been pressed).
  3. With John Byrne coming to Boston and Toronto... here are some books that I bought on release. All are NM . I will add a NM copy of FF 233 with each order (2 are available). $75 PayPal only $10 shipping to CONUS, $23 to Canada No returns (unless you disagree with the evaluation.... then you pay return shipping) Don't worry... the books are pretty nice.
  4. CGC should not change their standards. Fake signatures have flooded the collectibles market for years. I want a witnessed signature.
  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Howard-The-Duck-2-CGC-9-0-Rare-Double-Cover/173399565145?hash=item285f6b6359:g:YjsAAOSw~7ZbQVRs
  6. I am having fun adding to my CGC Registry. I will still have the other two raw.
  7. I have a question... I love this BWS cover of Epic #7 and I will get at least one of them signed by Neal Adams this summer for my collection. I have at least 3 others in a similar grade (9.4-9.8)... do I get them signed and graded or is it not worth the cost?
  8. I love Bill Sienkiewicz covers! It is the only 9.6 or above s/s .... not a heavily sought after book , so this might stand.
  9. Shadow/Batman #4 Variant Cover by Johnny "D" Desjardins with front cover remark and back cover sketch.
  10. Both CCS and a limited number of outside companies (CFP Comics and Services for example) are authorized by CGC to press books and still retain the yellow label.
  11. Thanks. What is kind of fun is that I found an image of the original art of the Epic #16 "Icarus" by Barry Windsor-Smith. Someone has a wonderful framed piece hanging on their wall!!
  12. Some new additions to my Epic Illustrated collection. Thank you to @Rich_Henn for the s/s editions.
  13. Really great job Kevin!! Fan Expo Canada (Toronto) is always a wonderful show!
  14. For those of you who are looking to see if the prize list lasts until your turn...... there is one last prize that I listed in my original post. If you missed out on a prize, but completed all 10 rounds, a $50 PayPal credit will be randomly given out.
  15. Thank you to Shin and Andy for a really wonderful contest! To all participants... if you submitted a score in all 10 rounds and did not make it to the prize round... you are still alive for a prize.
  16. I know Overstreet is not the bible, but "The largest piece allowed missing from the front or back cover is usually a 1/2" triangle or a 1/4" square" for a 2.0. This measures 1.05 in.
  17. Is that or is that not a 1 inch piece missing out of the back cover of the ASM 194?
  18. Thank you to Andy and Shin for all of their work on this yearly event. I will wait until tomorrow to submit my grades... although, I seem to do better with a glass or two of wine in me. If you have not submitted a prize, please do so... even if it is a book or two that you don't really need.
  19. Right now, I have equaled my last year's score... so everything else is me just learning!
