  1. This might seem a long shot, but is anyone facilitating Duke City Comic Con 6/29-7/1 (Albuquerque,NM) or Estes Park Comic Con 7/13-7/15 (Estes Park,CO)?
  2. These came in today. I was hoping for a 9.6 on this first printing of Love and Rockets #1 (1982), but I am still quite pleased. It is such a hard book to find in higher grade. Also, a really nice #5 (only one of two out there).

  4. I will be heading to Motor City Con next month for Beto, Xaime and Mario. I really need to pare down what I will bring for signature and grading, but I am excited to meet all three.
  5. Here are my other (better grade) copies of Penny Century that I will be bringing to Motor City Con for Los Bros Hernandez signatures!
  6. There is a "Creator Agreement" form that CGC can send or email you. It needs to be filled out by the artist and then it can be sent in (with the sketch cover) directly to CGC for Signature Series grading (assuming you have a CGC account).
  7. If you submit around 8-10 books a year or more, then membership is definitely worth the cost.
  8. It's not that great this week though, but our summers are wonderful.... and no jokes about only 2 weeks of it.
  9. Then why bother reading or even commenting on a thread that you find pointless? Some of us have fun with grading our books and looking for results. I have been collecting for over 50 years and I enjoy this.
  10. I'm sorry, but what specific line offends you? These books were either s/s at conventions or different tiers. The almost thousand books I submitted in 2016 were mostly in 25 book batches.
  11. A few more... some I will bring to Motor City for signatures. The first two rows are all first printings... a few from 14-20 with rusty staples. Next 2 rows are V.2.
  12. With the weather, this would have been the perfect day to get a Graham Nolan sketch...I just couldn't get there.
  13. Is it Hector? I think I bought one of your Luba sketches... I love it.. as well as the one I got directly from Gilbert. The more Los Bros Hernandez fans the better!!
  14. Thank you. I have over 50 Love and Rockets and Penny Century books that I have collected over the years that I am bringing to Motor City next month for Beto, Jaime and Mario to sign. I am looking forward to it!
  15. You already have more than your share of double covers!!!
  16. Kind of fun...My first double cover! I bought a few of these on release and I never noticed this one until I started prepping it for CGC.
  17. I am a big Love and Rockets fan. Mario, Gilberto and Jaime Hernandez were huge pioneers in the Indy/Small Press Comics movement. Here are the three printings of this 1982 #1 issue.... perhaps the first time these books are shown in the same image. The First printing is somewhat smaller than the other two. The 6.0 CGC is the highest graded of the third printing (there is one other 4.5 copy).
