    Hey guys and gals I have decided to list all five of my Peps comics in the up coming CC August auction they are 32-38-39-41-42 I've had a few bordies that we're interested. Good Luck to everyone there great books.

    In the late 80s when SDCC was a small comic convention at that time I had a chance at buying a Batman 1 that was a VF 8.5-9.0 for a 1000.00 but I didn't have the cash oh well.

    Where the cut off when someone has to pay taxes?? 9999.99 And I'm assuming it's only federal because most of us live out of state and are not liable for state taxes.

    Someone mention the auction was over 7 million in sales I almost sure Jon negotiated a lower percentage then the standard 10 percent since he could have gone to any auction house of his choosing with his collection.

    There another one on eBay that at 6300.00 low grade copy with a coupon cut out on the back cover.

    If I had to pick one book it would be my Pep 38 tuff book Alex Schomberg cover it belong to Larry Harris who was a big part of Pep Comics with Catfish Joe and once I sell it I doubt I'd find another one since it the tuffest book to find in the Pep run.

    I think it's the plastic CGC case that looks dark on the scan and not the book. That 7.0 is a beauty.

    Yes even if it drop a grade wouldn't it be worth more with a blue label?
