  1. Hello, I am interested in a Lemire art piece. Anyone know the best way to contact Jeff to inquire? Thank you,
  2. Hello, I have just listed a page from Future State Teen Titans #2, which has the 2nd mainstream appearance of Red X in DC comics. This page has him unmasked for the first time. Red X has previously appeared in the Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go! animated series. His only other comic appearance before Future State was in a Teen Titans Go comic book. He is now in mainstream DC continuity. Page for Sale: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1776261 Here's some cool pics from the animated series. Cool mash-up
  3. Hello, Does anyone know the best way to reach out to Keith Giffen? Feel free to DM if you do. Thanks
  4. Hello, I am interested in a couple of pages by Carlo and am not sure if anyone is repping him. Would appreciate any leads. Thank you
  5. Hey y’all. Does anyone know who’s repping Doug Mahnke these days? I’ve reached out to JJ’s comic art who I know at least used to rep him, and haven’t gotten any responses. Thanks
  6. Hello, Wondering if anyone happens to have any Mahnke pages from Final Crisis or Final Crisis Superman Beyond. Would love to see what anyone had. Thanks
  7. Really like your Hardcover collection of Mignolaverse books! I have the BPRD Hell on Earth and Devil you Know Hardcovers, as well as Abe Sapien Dark and Terrible volumes 1 and 2, and the two new Hardcovers that just came out (BPRD 1952-1954, and Secret Histories). My next hunt is for the Abe Sapien the Drowning and Other Stories HC and the Hellboy Weird Tales HC. I may eventually try to slowly upgrade my Plague of Frogs softcovers to hardcovers, but those aren't cheap! All of my Hellboy books are the softcovers (except for the IDW artist edition). I'm pretty happy with those....but dang those Library editions are NICE!
  8. Very nice! Do you have a pic of your BPRD shelf??
  9. Wasn't aware of the Xenozoic tales fiasco. Sounds like the much delayed return of Gaiman and Buckingham to finish their Miracleman run from 20 years ago. So far all we got was nicely recolored versions of most of the original comics, but still nothing new. Didn't even get the recolored (or possibly redrawn according to Buckingham) versions of issue 23 and 24, which were the last issues released. I held on to hope for a few years that we would indeed get the completion of Silver Age, and also get to finally see the conclusion in Dark Age, but after 6+ years...I'm losing hope. Similarly, I had heard the art was done on some or most of the Silver Age issues.
  10. I gave up on trying to by art from Spencer after 2 different attempts. I requested a page he had for sale on his site. He responded pretty soon on one inquiry, on the other I think I had to email him again. Both times, he said he would have to check on the art to see if he still had it. I kid you not, each time it was 3-6 months before he got back to me. By that point I no longer had the funds for those pages, and was not interested anymore anyways after being left hanging for so long. I mean, I'm a very busy engineer that project manages multiple projects and have crazy deadlines and have to get out a lot of work. Someone taking months to get back to me about comic art that they either have or don't have that I am trying to buy seems....ridiculous. I don't see how the artists he reps allow this to go on. Maybe they don't know, or maybe don't care? I would think they would sell 10X more pages if they were repped by someone who advertised their stuff, had a list of what they had, and responded quickly and professionally.
  11. The Future State Next Batman does indeed take place in the future, not clear yet if it is an alternate timeline or not, since a lot of the DC books are actually keeping major portions of the stories in their current books (ex = all of the Bat titles, Titans Academy, etc.). She is commissioner Montoya in the current Bat books, as well as the new "I Am Batman" title that has the future state "Next Batman" Jace Fox, before he supposedly becomes Batman in the (near?) future. This story takes place in current time and earth prime continuity (as far as I know : ).
  12. Ok, I have a question regarding....the Question (the 2nd one = Renee Montoya) Warning, possible spoilers to general storyline in current Bat books. I was very pleased when Bendis brought back both the original Question Vic Sage, as well as Renee Montoya to his Leviathan Rising storyline in Action comics, and then in the Event Leviathan miniseries. I also enjoyed seeing Renee as the Question working contract for Lois Lane in the maxi series by Greg Rucka. What I am confused about is that in the Bat books, and especially the Next Batman, she is now police commissioner of Gotham City (having replaced James Gordon) and is not a fan of masked vigilantes?!? What the heck is going on? Is this a different Renee Montoya? If this is the same character it seems like a blatant instance of continuity being completely ignored. I mean, was she a part of a mini-crisis I missed?

  17. Hello, So, I am interested in reading the second omnibus for this run. the Civil War and One More Day storylines intrigue me. My question is do I need to read the material from the first omnibus to know what is going on, or no? The first omnibus is very expensive, and the material in the second is really what I am interested in, but obviously since I have not read any of it, I don't know what I don't know : ) Thanks!
