  7. Thanks for your thoughts. I enjoyed the Save Now preview story as well, and am curious if, when, and where they will pick that story back up.
  8. That's what I was thinking as well. You can actually get full sets of a series for less than cover price. Even some of the comic shops are selling them less than cover. I'm thinking the Matt Kindt ones are probably a safe bet, but curious about some of the others. Wondering about the Wyoming and Orc Island series.
  9. Yeah, the Megalith book looks great, but very pricey. Am I correct in my understanding that this initial Kickstarter is happening with the intent of bringing this book to comic stores = they will eventually release a less exclusive edition of this book for a 1/3 of the price in actual comic shops?
  10. Yeah, I hear you. I stepped away for the same reasons. Just wondering if anyone has stuck with them and has some books they would recommend.
  11. Hello, Just curious if anyone is digging any of these series or single issues. I read the first issue of Eniac and enjoyed it, will definitely read the rest. I picked up the first issue of Odinn's Eye, the art was spectacular, but I could not get into the story at all. I may try some of the other series/issues written by Kindt. Any other recommendations? That Megalith book on kickstarter looks epic, but I think I will wait until there is a $30-$40 version of it in the LCS's rather than fund the more exclusive one for $125.
  12. Oh man, I'm super hopeful for Geoff Johns doing us right with whoever the Golden Age active Legionnaire from the future is..
  13. The variant cover for Batman Superman World's Finest #14 appears to show the return of the original Legion of Superheroes. Has anyone heard that this is indeed the case? Really hoping they are coming back as the main Legion in DC. Been re-reading Geoff John's Action Comics run with Gary Frank that featured the Retro-boot Legion brought in during the Lightning saga in JSA and JLA. Loved the way Johns made them the main Legion again, while still respecting the reboot and threeboot Legions in Legion of Three Worlds. Really hoping this is the case. I still have a conspiracy theory that the Retroboot Legion was supposed to be the ones that came back at the end of Doomsday Clock. We already had the Retroboot Saturn Girl in DC Universe Rebirth and most of the issues of Doomsday Clock. It wasn't until a later issue that she vanished into the ether with her and the rest of the Legion to be replaced by the Bendis Legion at the end of Doomsday Clock. I always figured that Johns intended to bring them back, but with the hiring of Bendis, and Bendis taking over the Legion, he had to incorporate the rebooted Bendis Legion (fiveboot?) into his book. Would make sense of some of the delays as well. Just a theory though...
  14. Not sure if you have seen this one. Not the bobsled one, but still a Green Lantern Hostess ad. I am sure it would not be cheap, but looks like the Donnelly brothers have one. https://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=8383383
  15. Not sure if you've seen these: First pages from Morrison's first issue on DP: https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1873353 DP #21 cover from Morrison's initial arc. https://www.comicartfans.com/ForSaleDetails.asp?ArtId=8419243 Awesome pages but definitely not cheap.
  16. Bump for 2023. Aside from the character designs, would also want to know if anyone had any Multiversity Society of Superheroes pages penciled by Sprouse (penciled and inked is fine, but not looking for inks over bluelines right now. He did a little of both for this issue.) I have seen the couple available on CAF. Thanks!
  17. Did any money already exchange hands? If not, I would probably say to move on. It sounds like he changed his mind to either sell to you or buy from you (not sure which scenario it is). It stinks, but it happens. And April is a looonnng time ago. I would say he moved on, so you will probably have to also. If however, money has changed hands, that's a whole different animal and I would hope you get ahold of him asap.
  18. Hello, Looking for a couple pages of Gary Frank's original art pages from DC Universe Rebirth #1. Here are some images from the comic below. Please DM me if you have a page you would sell. Thanks
  19. Very nice! Really wish someone would reprint all of these in a nice trade or hardback edition!
  20. Ha, well I think it’s pretty cool. I great cover on that one for sure! I really love the ABC #1 cover too…it just really pops to me. I may need to find a copy of that one day.
  21. Wow, great collection! Now I gotta go figure out what the deal is with Wonder Comics #9!!
