  1. I sent them like 20 WATA games to sell and was in the agreement not to list at the same time. They listed them all at the same time and since they were a lot of dupes, it depressed the value. The POS who handled the transaction said too bad. I found out one buyer bought all of them and sold them one by one on ebay. I hate that #*#&$) company. I've received calls from them in the past since they know my collection. I think my last words to one of them was drop dead. I wonder, is there like a 1031 exchange for comics and other investments?
  2. Don't need it at all. I know they are like gold and prob. can get a nice advance within a week from just about any auction house. I guess I am holding out for an Action 1. Which, I'd probably have to sell Tec 1, 27, BM1 and SM1 to acquire. Not sure if that's a good deal.
  3. I maybe dumped 150k in comics in my lifetime of buying them. Most were purchased in the 90's and early 2000's. They are now worth 750k+, so it's a sizable portion of my investments by accident. They are all in bank storage about a mile away, so that's not an issue. I take them out once a month just to let them breathe. I know Tec 1 would be hard to replace as it's rarer than Tec 27. Only Tec 2 is rarer than Tec 1. If I could sell some and get an Action 1, any grade, I'd probably pull the trigger, but people are saying I am dreaming. It's nice to have something so rare, but not much enjoyment as I have to keep them in the bank vault due to insurance and value. I used to keep my AF 15 to view and admire, but now that has surpassed 40k in value, it's in the vault. Not bad for a 4.5k investment, but little joy since I really cannot display them.
  4. I hate Heritage. Mf'ers screwed me over on come graded video games a few years ago.
  5. I've not taken a complete inventory of the collection. I need to update the pricing. It's a bit mind-blowing to consider..
  6. I will pull from the safe deposit box and post if there's interest.
  7. Not needing to sell, just wondering if it is wise to consider. Some people know I've been mulling selling some of my collection for years.. Just hard for me to pull the trigger. I also have a full 1 - 30 CGC graded Spider-Man collection. Never would I expect these values on some of these comics. Agreed on the auction houses, but the problem that I will run into with these comics, is the average collectors prob. could not afford these and this takes a huge chunk of potential buyers for the golden age books.
  8. I've posted my pictures before, so this is immaterial.
  9. Dec. 1, SM1, BM1 are restored, the others are all universal. Was going to sell to build up reserves for another investment. Never really planned to sell them, but the prices are nuts now. Just concerned with the changing of people's tastes that comics may change and they'd be worth much less or heaven forbid, nothing.
  10. I've been mulling over selling my Detective Comics # 1 8.5 with an auction house. They're estimating an obscene amount for the comic. I purchased it in the 90's for 10k, they are projecting over 100k for it. Normally, I wouldn't, but with comics so high, I am concerned that the price, over time, will just go back to 10k or below. They also want me to list my Superman # 1 @ 7.5, Batman #1 8.5, Spiderman # 1 @ 9.4 and Amazing Fantasy 15 @ 5, but I am not too keen on selling those. What would you guys suggest? I've been going back and forth in my mind for years on all of them. I also have others, but these are probably the most coveted. The insurance premiums have been going up as the values continue to climb too.
  11. Thought the same, but the rep only offered to purchase it at a ridiculous price. Prob. either post the high end CGCs here or send it over to the place I cannot stand; Heritage (bunch of liars). There's also comiclink. Ross thought it would sell close to 15k few months ago. I may reach out to them.
  12. Tried to message MyComicShop and wanted to sell/list Amazing Spider-Man #2 CGC 7.0. They offered me less than half the actual value. Strange. Still fighting with eBay and have officially filed a complaint with USPS. Will continue to post on my battle with eBay and the POS user; which I'll also post his/her username too. Just waiting for the case to be closed one way or another.
  13. Yes, this is what I am doing today. Unreal the whole experience. Years ago, there were so many online auction sites. Now, basically one. Sucks.
  14. Yes, I did. However, it shows a delivered, so I am not sure how I can legally file a claim with the USPS.
  15. Seems like a new buyer with a "0" rating. Yet, they took this POS claim over a seller with over 20k in sales this year. Makes sense (not). Not sure if I am allowed to post his user ID.
