Just found this site (NSFW, so click at your own risk - it is Manara after all):  https://designyoutrust.com/2022/01/milo-manara-comic-art-youve-probably-never-seen/

I love his stuff.  I have all but 1 of his Marvel covers and a handful of others like the Vampi, Unnatural, Nebulina, etc...  and all of the Dark Horse HC collections.  Those books are only in B&W but are awesome.  Highly recommended!  I have a few of the European 48 pg HC's as well and those are in color.

Not sure what my grades would be, but I've never opened up the issues that I own and I got them bagged and boarded so I'd figure pretty high.  I may grade them eventually...

    Some great work.

Would have loved to see this one as a cover .

  2. I thought I would nominate MG Comics since  Hall of Shame Rules has the following "These impact "Sales Advertising, eBay Dealers etc" as well as off-board sales between Forum Members."

MG Comics in Montreal was formally named Comicage.

    https://www.facebook.com/mgcomics.ca

I know that they are most likely not a member to the boards but I think is would be good if anyone does a search.

Reason this thread and there shameful business practice.

For reference as ebay listing does not last forever..

Original listing that was later taken down for whatever reason.

    Then to be re-listed..

FYI, the item was not sold, it was removed by the seller.

Probably after someone contacted them and mentioned that it would not bode well for the seller, but they must have some big b@lls to even try.  Some people do not look at the bigger picture to protect there business.

It's the responsibility of the buyer to review the purchase and make sure the case has not been tampered with. I'd question the photos ahead of time, before bidding, maybe the buyer doesn't care? (shrug)

100% feedback, must be doing something right?

It this case it is obvious this book has issues, but in other cases that can not be determined by a few pictures that a seller posts but becomes more obvious with book in hand.  The seller has liability in this case and not sure to say "It's the responsibility of the buyer to review the purchase".

I agree with 100% feedback, they must be doing something right.

IMO, and not being a jerk - This is not the sellers fault. CGC gave the grade and it was final. Look at their listings they have 1,000s of items. It is not their responsibility to QA every book they have because CGC made a mistake?

I do know know it is not the sellers fault, but the seller is taking advantage of a mistake and putting it out on the market with no shame.

I have dealt with this dealer/seller before and they did some shady stuff, like jacking the price after I made an inquiry about an item they had on there website and ebay, stating "market value".  After this incident I did a search and found some google review that reiterate the same that happened to me in my experience.

You can check for yourself.. They are called MG Comics in Montreal Canada, google them.

Seems like more then half of the reviews are from the owners and their family.
