  1. No need to be sorry. You'll learn your way around. That's a very specific item. Maybe easier to buy one and head to Stan Lee at a con (at least for the moment)
  2. There is a looking to buy section. Try there. Welcome.
  3. I read this was Miller's first artwork with Batman. I own a copy and can't find a credit anywhere for Miller. Can someone help out. Thanks in advance
  4. I'd just keep getting that 6.0 signed by stan, over and over and over and over and over
  5. I wish I was Pickycollector. Your HG Swamp Thing vol 1 & vol 2 run says hello. Just moving them around in the comic book room. They are might nice.
  6. Pass. Sounds depressing. I'll just stick to reading them. In all seriousness bob, is there any point in pressing and or slabbing a comic (besides $)?
  7. My goal is to become the greatest comic book collector in the world. I buy everything and ask questions later
  8. should i buy tickets now? does it sell out?
  9. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Yeah, that's what I figured. My heart skipped a couple of beats when I saw the cover to #1 in a stack from the seller. Oh, well.
  10. I managed to pick up a third printing of #1 in pretty good shape (8.5 or 9.0, 9.2 or 9.4 if I'm really lucky) for about 20$ or so. Do third printings move price wise much? If I'm interpreting GPA correctly subsequent printings seem beyond stagnant. Or is it all about the 1st printing? Got #2 in a 1st and 2nd printing for 10$ each. #3 in a first printing. Up to #5, I think. Got to read them to see what all the fuss is
  11. Good always get the stropping down. When it came to honing, forget it
  12. It must be so nice to be film maker John Carpenter in so very many ways.
  13. Is that s strop for a straight razor hanging on door knob? Very cool jacket indeed!
  14. It's mind boggling the kind of money this book seems to require. I bought an 8.0 WP at the Stan Lee con in Los Angeles in 10/2016 for 800$ cash. When it comes to the investment side of the hobby, this is probably the one and only purchase I've made where I came out ahead. Its a great cover for an origin/first apperence of a great character, however, I'm curious what's driving this crazy money. What am I missing?
  15. Here's 'ol Grebal: factual, level headed and even handed. You must be a riot at parties.
  16. Gotham could you elobarate for those of us not able to keep up (Like myself) thanks
  17. There was one sold at auction January 2017. I'm sure of it. Unfortunately I'm not sure of anything else. It wasn't sold at HA. I know that. So CC or CL
