  1. I've read court cases and attended trials for fun and entertainment (I know, it's weird) and this is what always happens: You watch the trial, attend court hearings, read the depos, read the filings understanding them the best you can and the case goes on for years. Then as each side runs out of money, they settle and everything is sealed so you can really never tell what happened in the end. See the C. Dickens story The Bleak House. I predict this will be settled out of court and none of us will know the conclusion.
  2. I bought it from a reputable dealer at an 8.5. Opened it and the glue began coming unglued. Not bad, not great. I just wanna read it in the story's original format. Not gonna resell it. Price was 45$. It doesn't look like someone was pulling a fast one and put some glue on there. But I'm no expert at restoration. Like I said, It's a reader. No biggie. Just wondering.
  3. Bought Swamp Thing runs volume 1 and 2. Priced at FMV, excellent communication, speedy shipping, superb packing. Excellent, excellent excellent!
  4. carded, loose, colors? I'm not sure what carded means. If that means still in package, yes I would like them in package still. Colors of figures is not important. I see them on ebay, just seem super-pricey. Maybe that's what they go for
  5. anybody gotta a line on the original Micronauts figures. Need a Time Travaler and Space Glider
  6. Bought the Daredevil Graphic Novel "Daredevil: Love and War" by Miller and Sienkiewicz from 1986. I opened it and the cover immediately starting separating from the spine and main body of book and I was wondering if this was a common problem and the books and larger, heavy and square bound. Thanks in advance for answers.
  7. Please do take a moment once you get it back from CGC to let us know the grade they gave it. Thank you. What comic con in 72' did you get it at?
  8. it has a fair share of Marvel Chipping. (Tearing on right side). Some people thing that's a huge deal, others not so much. 5.0 - 6.0 But please wait for the pros, as I'm not one yet. 6.0 might be a bit high so I'll say 5.5. Cool you bought this so long ago! Good luck w/your grade
  9. I appreciate what you're both saying, however opinions and attitudes do sometimes change. They come as a sea change. I dunno.
  10. Also, what are the odds that one day CGC (and collectors in general) will see a date stamp as a grading ding?
  11. geez, read the wiki about the Marvel title and it sounds exactly the same.
  12. Don't know if anyone finds this of interest: on the stage next to the one I work on at Warner Brothers they're putting in a new tv show called Powerless. From what the guys tell me it's a comedy about insurance adjusters that come to scenes of superhero destruction and work out property insurance stuff. They will use DC characters Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and Flash.
  13. Thanks for posting those interior pages whoever did that. Georgeous!
  14. you're saying your guess is that the book will go for 156K, Peewee?
  15. So it got an 8.5 from Voldy and then CGC gave it an 8.5?
  16. Honest Boardie. Thanks for the DDs
  17. at: The OCD can't have that. Now I understand what's wrong with me.
  18. I've bought Miracle Man 1 - 16, the Alan Moore issues from Eclipse. I have just bought the Miracle Man 3-D issue. How doe the 3-D issue fit chronologically? Do I read 1 - 16, then the 3D or …? Thanks in advance
  19. I just received my ticket. Thanks, Terry. The ticket says the convention is January 31, 2017. I assume this is a misprint.
