  1. Are you trying to make a more gloomy day here in Los Angeles than it already is?
  2. I thank you for the response. This I did realize. What I was wishing was some pressing & regrading genius would know the specific (or close to specific) amount of $ this 7.0 to 8.0 process cost as I'm too lazy to do the research myself. Lazy + Wanting Free Knowledge = Nada. Nothing. So, nothing I get. Wish I was more motivated. I could have more $ and that's what it's all about. I'm hungry.
  3. so CC= QVC sticker (or whatever)? and CL=CVS sticker (or whatever)? do they take the stickers off each other's books and put their own stickers on. I'm getting a headache and when hobbies become another chore it..... ....may be time to retreat a bit. read some comics. Gotta finish up The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
  4. or was it just cracked out of the case and resubmitted as new and got an 8.0? I'm so confused.
  5. Does anyone have the app. cost of having that 7.0 pressed and cleaned and graded into an 8.0.
  6. I'm glad I keep a far, far, far distance from most people. I really am.
  7. for why? if the answer is "to send him bitcoin, money, whatever" again, for why?
  8. someone's PMing you for cash? send some my way!
  9. hey how realistic is Lock Down and those shows?
  10. I don't wanna make a You Tube video. They're stupid. Instead of pointing an iphone at something, learn film stock differences, learn how to load a film magazine, learn depth of field, prime lenses/zoom lenses, learn about back lighting, key lighting, fill lighting, learn how to make an edge coded work print, learn how to edit, cut a negative and learn how to take your A and B rolls and strike an answer print. Learn how to get this into a movie theater. That sH*t impresses me, you tube videos don't. I didn't attack you just stated that in one of your videos there was a laundry machine with folded laundry on it. I saw it. It's true.
  11. Ok, yes I saw you at the Roswell 50th celebration in Roswell, NM in 1997.
  12. Look I'm not the expert in this cat, others here are. I'll let them step in but, yes, it's my belief he collects only that one book. To the tune of thousands of copies.
  13. Iron Man/ Submariner #1 circa 1968. One Shot. He collects that book. And I believe makes You Tube political rant videos in his laundry room. Chalk board and all.
  14. Reading this, you would fit into the UFO research community perfectly. You have been involved, haven't you? Mogul Ballon or real life UFO?
  15. I gonna try. I'm going to take his OP and try to translate. Jail for 20 years? Anyways here goes: Did you see how much Die 1 9.8 is going for? It's 300$. That's insane! Virgin Variants aren't much better. I like them, but too much money! And Immortal Hulk 2!? Everyone seems to want one! I like comic books where Cosmic Dudes fight and try to be pools of dead Cosmic Dudes. It's a wonder they go for so much. What the hell!!!! Comics are too much. Honestly, I feel like going on Ebay, typing in Amazing Spiderman, writing a letter to Steve Ditko even tho he's dead and filtering ending auctions soonest and just bidding on silver age. There. How's that? Is that kinda what you ment?
  16. Ok, some honesty here. I just read the OP just now. Some, um, yeah, apologies to all. Maybe english isn't his first language. He might be a kid, too. Anyways, just try complete sentences regardless of subject matter.
  17. I fully expected to find him hanging outside the Warner Brothers lot on Forest Lawn Drive screaming at the sky. Honest, I did.
  18. well hopefully he hangs out and becomes a good natured (if he isn't already) life long collector and is here to buy my drekollection when I cash out.
  19. you seem to really have a hard on for this guy.
  20. I honestly don't know what to make of you. Seems several folk here don't seem to care for you or your posts. I don't care it's just a silly/fun comic book board. I really don't. I try to assume good intent. You might like the UFO research community. If you do, well, that would reveal (a lot) to me. They are crazy and not in a fun way. They are a fairly irritating bunch.
  21. I fell into a group of Flying Saucer research people not by my own doing. It's a long story about the 50th anniversary of whaterever-the-F-happend in Roswell, NM in the 50s. It was a carnival/anniversary celebration in the late 90s and it was stupid as f. I went with a magazine writer from SF and pretty much stayed blitzed the whole time. It's the only way I could cope with these people. I actually physically vomited once around them when we went out to the NM desert to see where the UFO landed or what-the-f ever. Anyways, I remeber them always b-ing about if they can just stay untied in the UFO community and not in-fight that the truth of the UFOs would come to light. I was like, no, it won't.
  22. I looked up the cover of that issue. Interesting she would use the word disgusting. You know about that whole thing with the young teenage girl (Hedi?) who dressed up like that character at cons in the 70s. Talk about a fascinating story. Forry made a book about her. Older men gaggled at her. Which reminds me, if you live(d) in Los Angeles getting into Forry's "Ackermansion" was easy. You just had to ask. He was very nice about it, showing off his collection (wonder where it ended up?). I went several times and the first time I went Forry got real close to me and kinda leered at me and said, "Now how come I've never seen you here before." It was kinda odd. Didn't know what to think.
