While I agree, I've learned that it's wise to spread your inventory on several outlets instead of one.

There are times where books will sit and sit & sit on eBay as well

I never EVER thought I'd make more money on Amazon than eBay selling comics. But although eBay brings more shekels, Amazon does at times when eBay is slow af.

I am now concentrating more on IG & fb. And lo and behold.. it works!!

so now I have 2 oiled machines that work well and 2 new ones in the works

How do slabs do on Amazon?

  2. Yes, just shows up on the home page. They come up about once a month.

Best way to find out about them is to watch the CGC boards. ;)

The other "pro tip" is to keep a couple $75 BINs in your eBay cart so you don't have to search around at the last minute.

As a side note... yesterday, I saw the coupon at around 2 PT, but didn't get around to using it till 5:45. Even though there were 15 mins. left in the sale, eBay was no longer showing it on my home page. Fortunately, I was still able to come to the boards and copy the code. So... thanks CGC boards.

    Flash Gordon Whitman Lot:

Includes all three installments (#31, 32, & 33) of the ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR 1981 movie adaptation written by Bruce Jones, and drawn in high EC style by the legendary Al Williamson.

All of these appear to be unread, are VF+ or better, and are all from the same OO collection -- mostly ncb and/or general storage wear to the spines and front covers are the worst of it.

$20 + shipping for the whole lot.

The actual user name is comics4less and he is very popular - hard to win an auction from him unless you pay top dollar, but I manage to snag one now and then.

I've been getting some great stuff from dacardworld  lately, but I think the nice raw DC collection they had is about gone.

You definitely need to look at the scans of almost everyone referenced in this thread before making a bid though.

I've had a lot of success with the comics4less auctions. They list a ton of stuff each week, so you can usually find good deals if you look hard enough. Their grading is solid, they pack well, they ship quickly, and they combine shipping. Also, I think you get a couple % back if you subscribe to their email newsletter thingy.

By comparison, it's much tougher to find deals in the MCS and ComicConnect auctions. (And it takes way longer for your books to arrive!)
