As a new comer - what did you like about it compared to the regular sales threads?
It's cool scrolling down the page and seeing thousands of books.
But I was at home on a good connection. On mobile it's a bit rough. Maybe let sellers have 2 posts, one which is a "store front", limited to ~20 books. Then link through to a 2nd post with unlimited listings, lower in the thread.
I'm sure this has been discussed, but seems like more could be done in terms of promotion and social media to get the word out?
Also, on the software side, as a seller, the image layout and management was a bit clunky. I was able to make it work, but there's definite room for improvement.

In addition to what you mention, there seems to be very little creasing along the top (front and back). And slightly blunted corners.

Last time was the first time I participated. I think it's cool. Keep it going.

In please. I'm shooting for the booby prize.

I think The-Colletor is just showing off.

Most of GPA data comes from ebay sales based on how the seller lists it. Not all sales are captured and it doesn't capture at least one of the major auction sites (ComicLink). Its a good start but you need to due your due diligence in researching prices. Don't solely go by what GPA has listed.
Absolutely. I think my post above made me sound lazy.
It's not so helpful for new books that fluctuate a lot.
It's not so helpful for low volume books. -

Are these tears or just scrapes?
If tears, closer to 7.
If scrapes, closer to 8. -

In addition to everything mentioned so far, looks like slight fading along the top of the front cover, and a maybe a small chip.

You obviously haven't seen Dale in his garter belt and stockings then!
Admittedly, I've never been to a Chip and Dales...

I'm still trying to process the fact that you listed Cherry's Jubilee after Chip 'n' Dale. But in any case...
Whitman 3 Pack NM $ 14.00 Popeye, Super Goof, Little LuLu
Whitman 3 Pack NM $ 12.00 Chip 72, Mickey 212, Daisy and Donald 50
Shazam 1 and 2 NM 9.6 both for $4.00
X-Men # 110 Fine or better. Some bug? chews on the edges of the cover? Looks much nicer. $ 17.00@20% Off if Still Available.

I see a lot of action in GPA for ASM 678 "Variant Edition".
When you search for Amazing Spider-Man, make sure you choose the one that's "Amazing Spider-Man, The (1963) ". I would also recommend using their Saved Titles feature. -

At the risk of this becoming a commercial for GPA...
There are times when it is incredibly useful. For example, yesterday I picked up a CGC 4.5 book on eBay for well under $200. I was able to look at the charts and make a decision within minutes that it was a decent price. I didn't waste a lot of time reviewing ebay listings or going to other sites.
There are plenty of situations where GPA is not so useful. But if you're regularly buying books in this price range, or higher, it helps a lot.
-
Maybe if you tell us what the book is, we can give you a better answer.
In general, GPA is most useful for books that sell at higher volume. If the sales are sparse, it's pretty tough to identify the trends.
I also wish they had a way to combine graphs of sales across a range of grades.
You might also check out Nostomania, which includes data for raw books.

A man who enjoys a fine gladiator movie!
I'll never be able to look at that banana the same way again.

As an aside, a humidity monitor like this one can help you assess where to store your books.

It's weird. For me, the ads only show up on the bottom. And only when my wife and kids are in the room.
