    Is it rude to inquire what you paid for them? I personally love oddball comic stuff like this. It could be someone created their own personal version of the Philadelphia Superman card set, or many other topical pop culture tobacco or gum card sets of the time.

    Hey they are fun looking cards. I'm coming in here fresh and am unaware of how they were marketed, price and such, so I'm hoping they we're not presented as something they aren't. If I could go back 50 plus years and dig up some of my childhood comic book doodles and see how inaccurate my perception of the art I made at the time stands up

    My thoughts are they also have the look of early ditto press fanzine enthusiasm art that may have been intended to be published somewhere but....? I have looked through a few of my Batmania and others but nothing definitive

    Reece's Comics some of the nicest, fun, enthusiastic, fair, easy going, super duper, honest, approachable, well mannered, lovable, always cordial, goofy, family business out there. I've never had a bad time with them. The same with Highgrade Comics. Different personalities and such, but thumbs up to both.

As humble, just one of the guys, lower case bob puts it: "A vote for me doesn't necessarily mean the comic is free" But he will acknowledge your presence, nod from afar and bid you a good day sir or madam.

    I've never known him to be anything but cranky, opinionated and insulting. And those are his good traits. You should see what happens when they screw up his order at Arby's. WOW. That's all I can say about that since I was a witness and under court orders not to discuss, but let me just say it was frightening watching what he did with those horseradish packets. FRIGHTENING!
