  1. That's why no one wonders why I drink 🗣😷
  2. Sadly I recognize the owner of that crack and it kills me to say so.
  3. I dont like taking advantage of people, but it felt good pulling a $300 book out of a quarter bin box while the shop owner was bragging to meabout how much he makes underpaying for peoples collections. WOW! What else was in the .25 cent box?
  4. Not until you corner the market and own the best copies known to exist.
  5. I was driving down an old country road in rural WAY northern CA looking for roadside vendors selling some fresh fruit and veggies post isolating and shelter in place when I noticed a yard sale sign this that led me down an even smaller road. Nice elderly couple it seems had plenty of tine during lockdown to do some solid housecleaning. They weren't necessarily hoarders, but there was stuff from 2-3 generations that had accumulated. After some digging I found some kitchen stuff, cocktail type glasses, a couple of goofy toothpick type holders and then a few regular books and paper stuff. I then found a box that really piqued my curiosity. Funny Books! I got a nice little selection of misc things and as per expected when I asked if they had more they said yes, but those were in really bad shape and had already been thrown away a couple of weeks ago, 😳 So beggars can't be choosers. At least that's what my parents told me😡Mmm...possum collards! I learned to love them. anyway... Tiny comics $1.00 each 🤔 I like tiny comics! Older Comics $5.00 each😃 I lke older comics😃 Really low grade but it hey! it was the best con I've had in a couple of months. Some of the stuff and the best low grade funnies.
  6. Any ideas what the other book Richard Gere is holding behind the Silver Surfer 1? That's definitely not the back over to the SS 1 I believe it's a D.C. Comic from February 1973. I've found it on: Detective 432 Superman 261 Hoyse of Secrets 105 And which Frazetta book is that on the rack alongside the SF mags? I don't believe it's one of the 5 book series due to the font size and positioning of the text on the word "THE"
  7. I'm looking at the cocktail in her hand, records on the floor and the hell or come hither coyness in her smirk and I'm betting that's a dry gin martini and was listening to some Julie, Eartha and Peggy but now that he's entered the room she's playing some Chet.
  8. Man I wish I still had my copies of those heart and souls there's some really great panels in their session guys sitting at the bar smoking and drinking
  9. Wow. Nice. Any back story or sense of: "oh my gosh I can't believe I found this" am I on camera? Is this really here?
  10. I just picked this up and felt like noodlin' and doodlin'
  11. A little snippet for the theme collectors. I know there are quite a few so start showing them! I know there are quite a few involving Archie's friends and lots of funny animal and misc. assorted characters.
  12. I miss Kayo. It's been years.👍🏻😢so much fun stuff.
  13. Antique collective finds. Originally purchased in old style Saran Wrap sheets stapled shut. The Monkees solid Fines for the most part were $3.00 each. Fun stuff. D.C.'s were $15.00 each and very nice glossy and off white page quality VG/F range. I'm sure the books were nicer at some point, but we all know some people don't really handle items in antique shops very nicely.🤔🐒
