This weekend, I hit some black friday sales at LCS and also on eBay. Here is what I picked up. A lot of these were 20% off. I wasn't lucky enough to find dollar bins but these were worth it to me. I also got all 7 Barb Wire along with the #1 Audacity version CGC 9.8 graded (I paid $100 for that one though).

I got the comic back from CGC today. All is well. Comic is safe and was protected. I have to give a huge shout out to Dale Roberts. Extremely professional and took care of this for me. Its hard to find good sellers that you can trust. Big thumbs up.

Thanks, these are my oldest books. The AC and Supe graded better than the estimated grade where I bought them.

The Tec graded lower, but the seller swears that if I resubmit, I should get a 7.0. I might do that in the future to see if that happens. Original print was cut wrong and was the major issue with that book.

BEAUTIFUL Signature placement...

I love that book and was looking for one. I saw that and cringed. WHO WOULD DO THAT!

Also, I was at LA Comikaze and the lady in front of me somehow smudged her Stan signature and was extremely mad/crying after the signing. Beware.

This was my first Star Wars action figure. My Dad went to a work conference in Sacramento and came back with this strange-looking robot toy for me. I loved the package, the small photos of the other SW toys on the back, and the droid toy itself! And that's how the obsession started...

What a cool story. Love that stuff. I buy covers with my favorite characters from childhood as well. A lot of them are not worth hardly anything.

Other than typical superheroes, Nightcrawler was one of my favorites and I buy a ton of Boba Fett covers.

This has probably been brought up, but wondering thoughts. I have Star Wars v1 #1 SS signed by Thomas/Chaykin.

What do you all think about having the original cast sign it?

At cons, Ive seen people getting the cast to sign it but was conflicted about that. If I did it, I would probably only get Fisher and Hamil since their characters are on the cover. Not sure if I would get more than that (Mayhew, Daniels, Prowse).

Generally, I don't like to mix the comic creators and cast unless there is a specific reason or I am selling it and think it will add value. In this case, its for my PC.

My purchase from Revat went great. Ill definitely be buying from him again.

I'd love to, but I'm bound by confidentiality agreements. Rollout goes through a marketing department but I am working on getting these out earlier.

Don't understand the boycott mentality. I didn't like either of the candidates, but most of the cities that these conventions are held are blue. Go figure. To each their own.

And Todd wasn't doing any CGC in Dallas from what I remember. He only does CGC through private signings I believe. I got something signed and the people who got the tickets just got to get a guaranteed autograph.

If you're not trying to jump on a VIP you're probably ok waiting. Three day passes should not sell out so quickly.

Obviously this year could be different, but last year, even VIP did not sell out right away. But, I wouldn't wait too long if you want VIP.

Yeah, completely agree. I am confident, but not enough to throw down $450 just yet.

I got an email about buying it early since I was VIP last year. This is same price in the email, so it looks like it will be same price.

VIP pricing was released today, $449

A USPS medium flat rate box would've been free and provided much more room for packing material.

It is insured. Not sure the amount yet. I contacted the seller and waiting to hear back. Reputable seller so hopefully it all gets worked out.
